Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիրում հարգանքի տուրք մատուցվեց Սումգայիթի զոհերի հիշատակին: Անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող խաչքարի մոտ ծաղկեպսակ դրվեց ՀՀ նախագահի անունից: Ծաղիկներ խոնարհեցին նաև Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավորներ, մտավորականներ, հասարակական գործիչներ, ուսանողներ, Սումգայիթի նախկին բնակիչներ: Վերջիններս Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիր էին եկել իրենց զոհված հարազատների լուսանկարներով: Արցունքներն աչքերին մեկ անգամ ևս վերհիշում էին 30 տարի առաջ Սումգայիթում ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների կողմից կազմակերպած ջարդերի մանրամասները:

Սումգայիթի նախկին բնակիչ Կարինե Մելքումյանը պատմում է, որ այդ օրերին իրենց ընտանիքից սպանվել է հինգ հոգի: «Մենք այսօր ոգեկոչում ենք մեր հարազատների հիշատակը: Անցել է 30 տարի, սակայն մեր վերքերը չեն սպիացել: Սումգայիթում 3 օր սպանել են հենց հայերին: Մեր ընտանիքի վրա հարձակվել են փետրվարի 29-ին: Նրանք գազանաբար են վարվել մեր ընտանիքի հետ, սպանել, խոշտանգել: Մեր ամբողջ ընտանիքը 3 ժամից ավելի դիմադրել է այդ ամբոխին: Հայերը հերոսաբար պայքարում էին` փորձելով փրկել իրենց կանանց, երեխաներին և թոռներին: Եվ այդ ամենը կատարվել է ոստիկանության ու Խորհրդային բանակի աչքի առաջ»,- Past.am-ի հաղորդմամբ, ասաց Կարինե Մելքումյանը: Սումգայիթցիներն ընդգծում են` 30 տարի առաջ տեղի ունեցած ողբերգությունը վաղեմության ժամկետ չունի: Ադրբեջանցիները պետք է պատասխանատվության ենթարկվեն իրենց վայրագությունների համար:

«Ընդդեմ իրավական կամայականության» ՀԿ գործադիր տնօրեն Լարիսա Ալավերդյանը նշեց, որ մենք իրավունք չունենք մոռանալու սումգայիթյան վայրագությունները: Պետք է շարունակել հիշատակել և պահանջատեր լինել:

«Մենք ոչ միայն պետք է ոգեկոչենք մեր հայրենակիցների հիշատակը, այլև պետք է կարողանանք կազմակերպել նացիստական քաղաքականության ներքո գործող և այսօր Ադրբեջանի իշխանությանը մոտ կանգնած այն բոլոր անձանց նկատմամբ հետապնդումը, ովքեր Ադրբեջանում կանգնում և խոսում են այնպիսի բառապաշարով, որը մերժված է եղել դեռ 20-րդ դարի սկզբին»,-ասաց Լարիսա Ալավերդյանը:

Նա ընդգծեց, որ մարդկության դեմ ուղղված հանցագործությունները չունեն ժամկետի սահմանափակում: Նրա խոսքով, մեղավորների անուններ տալուց բացի, պետք է սկսել միջազգային հետապնդում, միջազգային իրավունքի ներքո:

«Մեկ հարցի մասին ևս: Մեր հասարակության մեջ ապրում են հազարավոր անձինք, ովքեր վերապրել են Սումգայիթում տեղի ունեցած ջարդերը, ցեղասպանությունը: Հարց եմ տալիս, նրանք այսօր որևէ կարգավիճակով պաշտպանվա՞ծ են: Մենք 30 տարի անց պետք է դասեր քաղենք ու ամեն մի երևույթ կոչենք իր անունով»,-ասաց նա:

Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավոր Արման Սաղաթելյանի խոսքով՝ այսօր հիմնական կոչերից մեկն այն է, որ մինչ օրս սումգայիթյան դեպքերը պատշաճ իրավական և քաղաքական գնահատական չեն ստացել:

«Մենք պարտավոր ենք անել ամեն հնարավորը, որ պատրաստ լինենք ցանկացած իրավիճակում պահպանելու մեր ժողովրդի ինքնությունը, հայրենիքում ապրելու իրավունքը: Այս իրադարձությունները, որոնք, ըստ էության, առաջինն էին այդ ամբողջ շղթայում, և որի հանգուցալուծումը Արցախյան պատերազմն էր և մեր հաղթանակը, կարծում եմ, որ դաս եղան նաև մեր հարևանների համար առ այն, որ ուժով և զենքով մեզ հետ խոսելն, ի վերջո, դատապարտված է ձախողման»,-ասաց Արման Սաղաթելյանը:
