Հայ-թուրքական արձանագրությունները չեղյալ հայտարարվեցին

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը ՀՀ նախագահական նստավայրում կայացած Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի նիստում հայտարարել է հայ-թուրքական արձանագրությունները չեղարկելու մասին: Ինչպես հաղորդում է Past.am-ը, այս մասին «Երկիր Մեդիա»-ին ասել է նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Վլադիմիր Հակոբյանը:
2008թ. ՀՀ Նախագահի նախաձեռնությամբ սկսվեց հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունների կարգավորման նոր փուլ, որի արդյունքում 2009թ. հոկտեմբերի 10-ին Ցյուրիխում ՀՀ եւ ԹՀ ԱԳ նախարարները ստորագրեցին «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության եւ Թուրքիայի Հանրապետության միջեւ դիվանագիտական հարաբերություններ հաստատելու մասին» եւ «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության եւ Թուրքիայի Հանրապետության միջեւ հարաբերությունների զարգացման մասին» արձանագրությունները:
Արձանագրությունների ստորագրումից հետո Թուրքիան, կտրուկ փոխելով իր դիրքորոշումը եւ հրաժարվելով «խելամիտ ժամկետներում» եւ առանց նախապայմանների երկկողմ հարաբերությունները կարգավորելու ձեռք բերված համաձայնությունից, Թուրքիայի Ազգային Մեծ Ժողովում Արձանագրությունների վավերացումը պայմանավորեց ԼՂ-ի հիմնահարցի կարգավորմամբ:
2010թ. ապրիլի 22-ին, հաշվի առնելով թուրքական կողմի դիրքորոշմամբ ստեղծված իրավիճակը, ինչպես նաև ՀՀ իշխող կոալիցիոն ուժերի քաղաքական խորհրդի համատեղ դիմումը, Արձանագրությունների վավերացման գործընթացը կասեցվեց` համաձայն ՀՀ նախագահի հրամանագրի: 2015թ. փետրվարի 16-ին ՀՀ Նախագահի հրամանագրով հայ-թուրքական արձանագրությունները հետ են կանչվել Ազգային Ժողովից:
ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը 2017 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 20-ին ՄԱԿ-ի ամբիոնից հայտարարեց. « Թուրքիայի ղեկավարությունը սխալվում է, եթե մտածում է, որ ինքը կարող է առհավետ պատանդ վերցնել այդ փաստաթղթերը և վավերացնել միայն իրեն հարմար առիթով: Արձանագրությունները բանակցվել են ներկայիս պայմաններում՝ առկա խնդիրներին լուծում գտնելու համար: Դրանց կենսագործման ուղղությամբ շարունակաբար որևէ դրական տեղաշարժի բացակայության պայմաններում Հայաստանը այդ երկու արձանագրությունները հայտարարելու է առ ոչինչ: Մենք 2018 թվականի գարուն ենք մտնելու առանց այդ, ինչպես, ցավոք սրտի, փորձը ցույց տվեց, սին արձանագրությունների»:
