Քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է պաշտոնական այցով Երևանում գտնվող Լիոնի քաղաքապետ Ժորժ Կեպենեկյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակության հետ: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են նաև Երևանի ավագանու «Հանրապետական կուսակցություն» և «Ելք» խմբակցությունների անդամներ: 
Կայացած պաշտոնական հանդիպման ժամանակ, ողջունելով հյուրերին, քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն ընդգծել է, որ Երևանի և Լիոնի միջև բարեկամական ու գործընկերային կապերի ամրապնդումը, երկկողմ ծրագրերի մշակումն ու ամենատարբեր ոլորտներում ծրագրային համագործակցությունն իսկապես կարևորված է Երևանի համար: 
«Պարոն Կեպենեկյան, մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում Ձեր անձնական ներդրումը երկուստեք հարաբերությունների էլ ավելի ամրապնդման գործում: Երևանի և Լիոնի միջև իսկապես առկա է փոխգործակցության ամրապնդման մեծ ներուժ, որը հնարավորություն է տալիս մեզ նոր ձևաչափով կառուցելու մեր համագործակցությունը՝ ընդլայնելով համատեղ ծրագրերն ինչպես տնտեսական զարգացման, զբոսաշրջության խթանման, կառավարման նոր տեխնոլոգիաների ներդրման ու կրթամշակության համագործակցության, այնպես էլ քաղաքային տնտեսության մի շարք այլ ոլորտներում: Համոզված եմ, որ Ձեր այցը նոր ազդակ կհաղորդի մեր համագործակցությանը, և մենք առաջիկայում կարձանագրենք նոր հաջողություններ ու ձեռքբերումներ: Մենք կարևորում ենք կոնկրետ ծրագրերի ու նախագծերի իրականացումը, և վստահեցնում եմ, որ Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը միշտ բաց է համագործակցելու բոլոր այն կազմակերպությունների և անհատների հետ, ովքեր ցանկանում են իրենց շահավետ ներդրումն ունենալ Երևանում, և մեր լիազորությունների շրջանակում պատրաստակամ ենք աջակցելու ներդրումային ծրագրերի իրականացմանը», - ընդգծել է քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը: 
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար և առանձնակի կարևորելով համագործակցության ընդլայնման հարցում Երևանի քաղաքապետի պատրաստակամությունը՝ Լիոնի քաղաքապետ Ժորժ Կեպենեկյանը նկատել է, որ բոլոր քաղաքներն էլ ունեն համանման խնդիրներ և դրանց լուծման ուղիներն առավել հեշտ է գտնել փոխշահավետ համագործակցության միջոցով: Լիոնի քաղաքապետը նաև ընդգծել է, որ իր հերթին կանի հնարավորը, որպեսզի Երևանի և Լիոնի փոխգործակցությունը շարունակի շոշափելի արդյունքներ գրանցել: 
«Պարոն քաղաքապետ, մենք ևս կարևորում ենք Երևանի հետ համագործակցության ծրագրերի ընդլայնումն ու ամրապնդումը, ինչի խոսուն ապացույցն է նաև այսպիսի ներկայացուցչական կազմով մեր պատվիրակության այստեղ գտնվելը: Ընդ որում, ուզում եմ հատուկ ընդգծել, որ մեր պատվիրակության անդամներն արդեն իսկ համոզվել են, որ այստեղ կա համագործակցության ամրապնդման համապատասխան ներուժ, ինչն իր հերթին հաստատապես նպաստելու է ավելի հավակնոտ ու երկուստեք շահավետ նոր ծրագրեր կյանքի կոչելուն: Ես համոզված եմ, որ մեր այս այցը կլինի արդյունավետ, և մեր երկու թիմերի համատեղ ջանքերի շնորհիվ նոր էջ կբացենք Լիոնի և Երևանի միջև փոխգործակցության ընդլայնման համար՝ ի շահ մեր երկու քաղաքների բնակիչների», - ընդգծել է Ժորժ Կեպենեկյանը:
