Մարզական մեկնաբան Մենուա Մեհրաբյանի համար անսպասելի չէր Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ազգային հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ Արթուր Պետրոսյանի հրաժարականը: Այս մասին նա ասաց orer.am-ի հետ զրույցում:

Մեկնաբանի խոսքով՝ չի կարելի ուշադրությունից դուրս թողնել Լիտվայի ընտրանու հետ կայացած խաղից հետո տեղի ունեցած մամուլի ասուլիսը:

«Կարծում եմ՝ բոլորն էլ կհիշեն, որ Յուրա Մովսիսյանին կրկին հավաքական հրավիրելու հարցին պատասխանելիս Արթուր Պետրոսյանն ասել էր, որ դա որոշում է ֆեդերացիայի նախագահը: Պետրոսյանը, փաստորեն, բարձրաձայնել էր այն, ինչը գիտեինք բոլորս: Այս պատասխանից հետո, անկեղծ ասած, ես սպասում էի գլխավոր մարզչի հրաժարականին: Նույնիսկ ուշացավ հրաժարականը: Միգուցե Արթուրի պաշտոնաթողությունը կապեն այլ հանգամանքների հետ, բայց ակնհայտ է, որ միակ պատճառն այդ հայտարարությունն էր»,-նշեց մեր զրուցակիցը:

Մենուա Մեհրաբյանն ընդծում է՝ Արթուր Պետրոսյանը չցանկացավ լինել կամակատարի դերում: Ըստ՝ նրա նորմալ մարզչի համար անընդունելի է լինել ընտրանու ղեկին, բայց բացարձակ ազատություն չունենալ ֆուտբոլիստներ հրավիրելու հարցում: Մեկնաբանի համոզմամբ՝ մինչև գլխավոր մարզիչն իր գործողություններում լիարժեք ազատություն չունենա, նա երբեք չի կարող որևէ նշանակալից արդյունքի հասնել: «Ես միայն ողջունում եմ Արթուր Պետրոսյանի որոշումը, քանի որ դրանով նա պահեց ժողովրդի շրջանում իր հարգանքը»:

Անդրադառնալով Արթուր Պետրոսյանի կատարած աշխատանքին՝ մեր զրուցակիցն ասաց, որ ավելին սպասելն անմտություն էր: Հարցին՝ հայազգի՞, թե՞ օտարազգի մարզիչը լավագույնս կկարողանա աշխատել հավաքականի հետ, մարզական մեկնաբանը պատասխանեց. «Դեռևս մինչև Բեռնար Շալանդի նշանակումը, նաև դրանից հետո, միշտ նշել եմ, որ մեր ընտրանու ղեկին անհրաժեշտ է նշանակել բացառապես օտարազգի և շատ բարձրակարգ մարզչի: Եվ ոչ միայն ունեցած որակների համար, այլև ֆուտբոլիստների մոտեցման տեսանկյունից: Այսինքն՝ հայազգի մարզիչներին մեր ֆուտբոլիստները ընդունում են մակերեսորեն՝ դիտարկելով որպես ընկեր: Տվյալ մարզչի նկատմամբ լուրջ մոտեցումը բացակայում է:

Իսկ եթե ազգային հավաքականի՝ մարզիչ-ֆուտբոլիստ հարաբերությունների մեջ, թեկուզ չնչին, զգացվեց դա, ապա միանշանակ կարող եք չկասկածել, որ տվյալ հավաքականը երբեք հաջողություն չի ունենա: Ասել եմ բազմիցս ու կկրկնեմ, որ մեզ անհրաժեշտ է միայն ու միայն օտարերկյա բարձրակարգ մարզիչ: Կուզեք ընդունեք, կուզեք՝ ոչ, մեր հավաքականին անհրաժեշտ է մասնագետ, որն իր խստությամբ ճիշտ ուղու վրա կդնի թե՛ ներքին կարգապահությունը, թե՛ խաղայինը:

Ակնհայտ է, որ հավաքականի ներքին խոհանոցում չկա պահանջվող կարգապահությունը: Խոսքն օրվա կամ մարզումային ռեժիմի պահպանման կամ դրանց խախտման մասին չէ: Կարգապահությունը տվյալ դեպքում շատ ավելի մեծ իմաստ ունի: Հակիրճ ասեմ՝ մեր հավաքականին անհրաժեշտ է չափազանց խիստ մարզիչ: Անուններ տալ չեմ ցանկանա, բայց կան թեկնածուներ, որոնց վրա կարելի է ուշադրություն դարձնել: Չնայած՝ ֆեդերացիան այս առումով միշտ ցանկացել է քիչ ֆինանսական միջոցներ վատնել: Կորոշեն, կասեն, մենք էլ տեղյակ կլինենք: Մեր ֆուտբոլը խորը անդունդի մեջ է»:

Մենուա Մեհրաբյանը հետագա գործունեության մեջ հաջողություն մաղթեց Արթուր Պետրոսյանին:
