Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի հարգելի վետերաններ,
սիրելի համաքաղաքացիներ,
մայիսի 9-ը մեր ժողովրդի համար փառավոր հաղթանակների օր ու կրկնակի տոն է, ինչի առթիվ շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս:
Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմը ծանրագույն փորձությունն էր ինչպես Խորհրդային Միության բոլոր ժողովուրդների, այնպես էլ հայ ժողովրդի համար: Ֆաշիզմի մարդատյաց գաղափարախոսությունը մարդկությանը սպառնացող գլխավոր վտանգն էր, որի դեմ պայքարի դուրս եկան նաև հայ ժողովրդի զավակները: Հարյուրից ավելի ԽՍՀՄ հերոսներ, մարշալներ ու գեներալներ տված մեր ժողովուրդն իր անունը ոսկե տառերով է գրել ֆաշիզմի դեմ տարած հաղթանակի պատմության մեջ: Մեր պապերն իրենց կյանքի գնով պաշտպանեցին հայրենիքը, տունն ու ընտանիքը: Հարյուր հազարավոր հայորդիներ իրենց կյանքը չխնայեցին այդ հաղթանակի համար: Եվ մայիսի 9-ը նրանց արյան գնով ձեռք բերված Հաղթանակի օրն է, ու ես վստա՛հ եմ, որ ինչքան տարիներ էլ անցնեն, սերունդները հիշելու են Մեծ հայրենականի հաղթանակը կերտած սերնդին ու միշտ երախտապարտ են լինելու նրանց:
Հայրենական պատերազմում տարած հաղթանակից տասնամյակներ անց այդ հերոսների ժառանգներն իրենց ձեռամբ ևս մեկ փառավոր էջ ավելացրին հայ ժողովրդի հաղթանակների տարեգրքում՝ ազատագրելով Արցախ աշխարհի հոգևոր ու մշակութային մայրաքաղաք Շուշին՝ հայ ժողովրդի համար մայիսի 9-ը դարձնելով կրկնակի տոն:
Սիրելի վետերաններ,
երախտիքի մեր խոսքն ուղղելով անցյալի և մերօրյա փառահեղ հաղթանակները կերտած հերոսներին, խոնարհվելով զոհվածների հիշատակի առջև, կրկին վերահաստատում ենք, որ ոչ ոք ու ոչինչ չի մոռացվել: Հավե՛րժ փառք բոլոր հերոսներին:
