«Քրդամետ ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատիա» կուսակցությունն առաջարկում է բացել Հայաստանի հետ սահմանը առանց նախապայմանների։ Այդ մասին ասված է կուսակցության նախընտրական ծրագրում։ Թուրքիայի նախագահական ընտրությունները տեղի կունենան հունիսի 24-ին, որին կուսակցությունը առաջադրել է իր առաջնորդ Սելահհադին Դեմիրթաշի թեկնածությունը։ «Փաստ»-ի զրուցակիցն է թուրքագետ Գևորգ Պետրոսյանը։

-Նախընտրական ծրագրում նման կետ ներառելը որքանո՞վ է ճիշտ, և ինչի՞ վրա հիմնվելով են նրանք այդպիսի առաջարկություն անում։

-Ճիշտ և սխալ գնահատելը ես չէ, որ չպետք է ասեմ։ Հարկավոր է հասկանալ, թե ինչ նպատակ է սա հետապնդում և ինչ լսարանի է ուղղված։ Իրենք պետք է մեսիջներ ուղարկեն իրենց պոտենցիալ ընտրողներին՝ Թուրքիայի հայերին, «Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատիա» կուսակցության շարքերում գտնվող հայերին և էթնիկ ու կրոնական այլ փոքրամասնություններին։ Երկրորդ լսարանը՝ երկրորդ թիրախը, Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունն է, և սա ուղղված է նաև ՀՀ-ին որպես մեսիջ, որ Թուրքիայում կա քաղաքական ուժ, որն առանց նախապայմանների պատրաստ է բացել Հայաստան-Թուրքիա սահմանը, ինչպես նաև քննել պատմության վիճահարույց հարցերը, որոնց թվում նշվում է նաև Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը։ Պետք է փաստենք և հստակ արձանագրենք, որ սա առաջին անգամ չէ հնչում։ «Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատիա» կուսակցությունը նախկինում իր հայտարարություններում այս մասին նշել է։ Կուսակցական դիրքորոշումը միշտ էլ եղել է Հայաստանի հետ սահմանները բացելու, Ցեղասպանության հարցը քննարկելու և ճանաչելու ուղղությամբ։ Այս առումով մենք նորություն չունենք, նախկինում ևս այս դիրքորոշումը հնչեցվել է, ևս մեկ անգամ հնչեցնում են նախագահական ընտրություններին ընդառաջ։

-Թուրքերի համար սահմանի բացումը դրակա՞ն քայլ է։

-Թուրքական պետության միջազգային իմիջի համար Հայաստանի հետ բաց սահմանը նախընտրելի է։ Սակայն այստեղ Ադրբեջանի և մի քանի այլ գործոններ թույլ չեն տալիս բացել։ Պետական կուրսն ուղղված է ավելի սահմանափակ պահելուն։ Սա ընդդիմադիր քաղաքական ուժ է, քրդամետ, որն իր թիրախում է պահում ավելի լիբերալ, ազատական մոտեցում ունեցող թուրք ընտրողներին։ Լիբերալների շրջանում շատ են նաև այն մարդիկ, ովքեր ցանկանում են բաց սահման տեսնել Թուրքիայի և Հայաստանի միջև։

-Այդ կուսակցությունը հաղթելու ինչպիսի՞ շանսեր ունի այս ընտրություններում։

-Ամենափոքր հնարավորություններն ունի՝ հաշվի առնելով քրդամետ և ընդդիմադիր ուժ լինելը։
