Ինձ դատելը չի ստիպի, որ հրաժարվեմ Ցեղասպանության համար արդարության պայքարից․ Կարո Փայլան

Թուրքիայի քրդական «Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական» կուսակցության հայ փոխանախագահ Կարո Փայլանը պատասխանել է իր նկատմամբ տխրահռչակ 301-րդ հոդվածով (Թուրք ազգին վիրավորել) քրեական գործ հարուցելու մասին հայտարարությանը։
Ստամբուլի հայկական «Ակոս»-ի հետ զրույցում Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Կարո Փայլանը հայտարարել է, թե միշտ էլ իր ընտանիքի եւ ազգի վերապրած ողբերգությունը որպես ցեղասպանություն է անվանել։
«Որպես Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր, Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանից էլ պահանջել եմ իրերն իրենց անուններով կոչել։ Ինչպես ամեն տեղ, այնպես էլ իմ դեմ հարուցված քրեական գործի մեջ նշված հարցազրույցում ասել եմ ցեղասպանություն բառը, սակայն ես ոչ թե այսօրվա թուրք ժողովրդին եմ մեղադրել, այլ այն ժամանակվա ցեղասպան մտածելակերպով խունտային։
Ցավոք, ներկայում Թուրքիան կրկին գլորվում է հետ եւ անցյալի հետ եռերեսման պահանջները փորձում են ճնշումներով կանխել։ Դատախազներն ու նրանց քրեական գործին կանաչ լույս վառած արդարադատության նախարությունը թող իմանան, որ իմ դեմ քրեական գործ հարուցելով չեն ստիպի հրաժարվել ներկայում եւ անցյալում կատարվածի համար արդարության համար պայքարից»,-ասել է Կարո Փայլանը։
Նշենք, որ նախորդ տարի Թուրքիայի համալսարաններից մեկի ռեկտորը դատական հայց էր ներկայացրել Կարո Փայլանի դեմ «ցեղասպանություն» բառն օգտագործելու համար։ Դատախազությունն այդ բառը դիտարկում է «թուրք ժողովրդին վիրավորելու» հոդվածի շրջանակներում եւ նրա դեմ քրեական գործ հարուցելու թույլտվության համար դիմել է Արդարադատության նախարարություն եւ ստացել թույլտվությունը։ Օրեր առաջ հայտնի է դարձել, որ դատախազությունն արդեն դիմել է խորհրդարանի ղեկավարությանը Կարո Փայլանին անձեռնխելությունից զրկելու պահանջով։
