«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Արդեն կիսահումորի վերածված այս արտահայտությունը բնորոշում է տարիներ շարունակ շատերի ունեցած վերաբերմունքը երեխաների հանդեպ՝ այսպես, «ձեռքի հետ», բաժակից բաժակ, սեղանից սեղան, ամենակարևորը՝ շահարկելով: Հա, իհարկե, յուրաքանչյուրս ամեն ինչ անում ենք երեխաների համար, բայց՝ մեր, հենց մեր երեխաների, որովհետև այս պարագայում ևս հաճախ գործում է մեր դռան առջևի փալասից այն կողմ բան չտեսնելու հոգեբանությունը, որովհետև՝ «կարևորը ինձ համար լավ լինի»: Սա գուցե հասկանալի ու ընկալելի է (անշուշտ, վերապահումներով) նրանց համար, ովքեր մի կերպ կարողանում են իրենց երեխաների համար եթե ոչ լավ, ապա գոնե տանելի պայմաններ ստեղծել, իրենց օրվա մտահոգությունը իրապես բավարարում է այդ օրվան: Բայց ընդհանուր առմամբ, որպես երկիր, որպես պետություն արդյո՞ք ամեն ինչ անում ենք «երեխեքի համար»: Հազիվ թե: Քանզի այս պարագայում էլ երեխաներին հիշում ենք հունիսի 1-ից հունիս 1-ը՝ սիրուն տոն կազմակերպելով այս կամ այն վայրում, մի երկու քաղցրեղեն բաժանելով, բաժակաճառերի մակարդակի ուղերձներով ու շնորհավորանքներով: Իսկ ամենօրյա հոգածության, մտահոգության, վերաբերմունքի մասին, ցավոք, հաճախ մոռանում ենք: Ու խնդիրը միայն սոցիալական կողմը չէ, թեկուզ դա էլ պակաս կարևոր չէ, քանզի տասնյակ հազարավոր երեխաներ են այսօր քաղցած քնում ու քաղցած արթնանում, տասնյակ հազարավոր երեխաներ են երազում դպրոց գնալ գոնե մեկ նոր հագուստով, բազմաթիվ երեխաներ են հայտնվում գիշերօթիկներում՝ ծնողների անապահովության պատճառով: Խնդիրն ավելի խորքային է՝ սկսած նրանց հրամցվող կիսաբացներից մինչև դեգրադացնող սերիալները, այլընտրանք չունեցող անհասկանալի մուլտֆիլմերը, դաստիարակության համապետական դոկտրինի իսպառ բացակայությունը, դաստիարակության կարևորությունը մերժող պաշտոնյաները, վատ դասագրքերը: Յուրաքանչյուր ոք այս շարքը կարող է շարունակել: Ու միայն այս խնդիրներին ուշադրություն դարձնելու դեպքում կարող ենք հանգիստ ասել՝ ինչ անում ենք, երեխեքի համար ենք անում: Բոլոր երեխաների տոնը շնորհավոր: Տա Աստված, որ կարողանանք այնպիսի երկիր կառուցել, որ նրանց ամեն մի օրը տոն լինի...
