«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

 Ցույցերն, իհարկե, ժողովրդավարության արտահայտություն են՝ անկախ այն հանգամանքից՝ որտեղ, ում կողմից ու ինչի համար են արվում: Ցույցեր լինում են բոլոր ժամանակներում, բոլոր երկրներում: Որոշները խաղաղ են լինում, որոշները՝ ոչ այնքան, որոշները ցրվում են դեռ չսկսած, որոշները արդյունք են տալիս: Հայաստանում ևս անկախությունից ի վեր բողոքի ակցիաների, ցույցերի պակաս չի եղել: Ավելին, կարելի է ասել՝ դրանցից որոշները գրեթե «մշտական տոմսի» սկզբունքով էին իրականացվում: Ասենք՝ ամեն հինգշաբթի կառավարության շենքի մոտ հավաքվելը: Նորմալ, բնական գործընթացներ են: Բայց... Այն, ինչ կատարվում է փաշինյանա­ կան իշխանափոխությունից հետո, հաճախ շատ ավելի տարակուսանքի տեղիք է տալիս: Ընդ որում, հատուկ ուզում ենք շեշտել, որ խոսքը, այսպես կոչված, սաբոտաժային քայլերի մասին չէ: Երբեմն այնպիսի տպավորություն է, որ շարժման գործիքակազմն ուղղակի վարակիչ է եղել ոմանց համար և ցույցեր կամ այլ ակցիաներ իրականացնելը մի տեսակ դառնում է «բնավորություն»: Եթե ուշադիր լինենք պահանջներին, ապա գրեթե բոլոր դեպքերում տարիների, տասնյակ տարիների չլուծված հարցերի լուծումն ակնկալում են նոր կառավարությունից: Անմիջապես, հրատապ, անվերապահ... Ուշագրավ է, որ այդ նույն կառավարությանը իշխանության է բերել նույն այդ հասարակությունը՝ իր հուժկու ճնշումներով: Մեկ ամիսը դեռ չի լրացել, իսկ պահանջներն օրավուր սկսում են տագնապալի դառնալ: Խնդիրը հստակ է՝ վստահո՞ւմ ենք իշխանություն ձևավորածներին, թե՞ չենք վստահում: Ի վերջո, արդեն ծիծաղելի են դառնում մոտեցումները, որոնք տեղավորվում են «արդեն 25 օր է՝ իշխանության են, բայց...» մտասևեռման կաղապարի մեջ: Գուցե հենց նման վիճակն էր պատճառը, որ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը իր ֆեյսբուքյան ուղիղ եթերներից մեկում բառացի ասաց հետևյալը. «Եթե ես չեմ վայելում ժողովրդի վստահությունը՝ ուղիղ էլ էդ մասին խնդրում եմ տեղեկացրեք: Իսկ եթե վայելում եմ, թույլ տվեք աշխատանքային ռեժիմում այդ վստահությունը դարձնել կոնկրետ արդյունք»:
