ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Արայիկ Հարությունյանն առաջնահերթ խնդիր է համարում դպրոցների ապաքաղաքականացումը: ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարարը նման հայտարարությամբ հանդես եկավ Ազգային ժողովում ՀՀ 2017 թ. պետական բյուջեի կատարման հաշվետվության քննարկման ընթացքում` պատասխանելով «Ելք» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Հովիկ Աղազարյանի հարցին:

«Սա մեզ համար կարճաժամկետ առաջնային խնդիրներից մեկն է, որովհետև դպրոցների քաղաքականացումը մեծ վնաս է բերել դպրոցներին: Ես սա միշտ ասել եմ և չեմ զլանա կրկին ասել: Ես միշտ շաբաթներով սթրես եմ ապրել այն բանից հետո, երբ ընտրական գործընթացների ժամանակ որևէ դպրոցի ուսուցիչը, ուսմասվարը կամ տնօրենը զբաղվում էր  ընտրությունները կեղծելով, կեղծիքի վրա աչք փակելով, իսկ հաջորդ օրը մտնում էր դպրոց և ազատ քաղաքացի էր «դաստիարակում»: Սա պետք է արմատախիլ արվի: Դպրոցների ապաքաղաքականացումը առաջնահերթ խնդիրներից է, որովհետև որ նախարարը եկել է, համակարգը սկսել է նրա կուսակցության գույնով ներկվել, բայց տարիների ընթացքում բազմագույն մի իրավիճակ ենք տեսել դպրոցներում, երբ սկզբում նախարարը ՕԵԿ-ից էր, հետո՝ ՀՀԿ-ից, հետո ՀՅԴ-ից»,- նշեց Հարությունյանը:

Նա մանրամասնեց, որ առաջիկայում պատրաստվում է հանդիպել մարզպետների և մարզպետարանների կրթության վարչության պետերի հետ, որովհետև սովորաբար դպրոցներում կարգավորումները իրականացվել են մարզպետների և վարչության պետերի միջոցով, կուսակցական հրահանգները հիմնականում այդ օղակներով են գնացել: «Հիմա մենք պետք է փորձենք վարչությունները համալրել իրական մասնագետներով, որոնք ուղիղ կապ կպահեն նախարարության և դպրոցների միջև»,- եզրափակեց նախարարը:
