Սինայի թերակղզում A321-ի կործանման վայրում որոնողական գործողությունն ավարտված է: Այդ մասին, «Ալ Հայաթ» արբանյակային հեռուստաալիքի եթերում հայտնել է Եգիպտոսի կառավարության պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Հուսամ ալ Կավիշը:
«Որոնողա-փրկարարական գործողությունը Սինայի թերակղզու կենտրոնում ավարտված է: Եգիպտոսի կառավարությունն այժմ բոլոր հույսերը կապում է «սեւ արկղերի» պարունակության հետ»,- ասել է նա:
Կահիրեում ձեռնամուխ են եղել «Կոգալիմավիա» ավիաընկերության՝ Սինայի երկնքում կործանված ռուսական A321 ինքնաթիռի ինքնագիրների տեղեկատվության վերծանման գործընթացին, որը տվյալներ Է պարունակում օդաչուների եւ կարգավարների վարած խոսակցությունների, ինչպես նաեւ աղետի պահին ինքնաթիռի տեխնիկական վիճակի վերաբերյալ: Ավելի վաղ Եգիպտոսի հետաքննչական կոմիտեում հայտարարել են, որ օդանավի ինքնագիրների տվյալների վերլուծությունը որոշակի ժամանակ կպահանջի: Թե հատկապես որքան, նրանք դժվարացել են ճշտել: Նոյեմբերի 3-ին աղետի վայրում հավաքվել են հետաքննության համատեղ հանձնաժողովի փորձագետները՝ Ֆրանսիաից եւ Գերմանիայից Airbus-ի ներկայացուցիչների, ինչպես նաեւ Իռլանդիայից մասնագետների մասնակցությամբ, որտեղ գրանցված Էր ինքնաթիռը:
«Կոգալիմավիա» ռուսական ավիաընկերության A321 ինքնաթիռը, որը կատարում էր Շարմ էշ Շեյխ-Սանկտ Պետերբուրգ չվերթը, աղետի է ենթարկվել հոկտեմբերի 31-ին թռիչքից մոտավորապես կես ժամ անց Հյուսիսային Սինայի մարզի վարչական կենտրոն Էլ Արիշ քաղաքից 100 կիլոմետր հարավ ընկած շրջանում՝ Էլ Հասնա բնակավայրի մերձակայքում: Ընդամենն ինքնաթիռում եղել է 217 ուղեւոր եւ անձնակազմի յոթ անդամ: Նրանցից՝ ոչ ոք չի փրկվել: Ուղեւորների մեծամասնությունը ռուսաստանցիներ էին: Ճշտված տվյալներով՝ Եգիպտոսում կործանված ինքնաթիռում եղել են 132 պետերբուրգցիներ, Լենինգրադի մարզի 46 բնակիչներ, Ռուսաստանի այլ տարածաշրջանների 34 բնակիչներ, Ուկրաինայի չորս եւ Բելառուսի մեկ քաղաքացի, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
