«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Կար ժամանակ, երբ քաղաքական ուժերի մեծ մասը պայքարում էր ընդդիմության դաշտում իր ուրույն տեղը զբաղեցնելու համար: Ավելին, երբեմն հիմնական պայքարը ոչ այնքան իշխանություն-ընդդիմություն դաշտում էր, որքան ընդդիմություն մի ուրիշ ընդդիմություն դաշտում: Հիմա որոշակի իրավիճակ է փոխվել: Ընդ որում, այն աստիճան, որ ՀՀԿ-ն իրեն հայտարարում է միակ ընդդիմություն: Ընդհանուր առմամբ, դժվար է չհամաձայնել նման հայտարարության հետ, քանզի իրապես այս փուլում ոչ մի ուժ ՀՀԿ-ից բացի չի հայտարարել ընդդիմություն լինելու մասին:
Ինչո՞ւ է այդպես: Չենք կարծում, թե բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերը անվերապահ հիացած են Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կառավարության կազմով ու մեկամսյա գործունեությամբ: Խնդիրը բացարձակ այլ է: Եթե ՀՀԿ-ի իշխանության օրոք հասարակության վստահության որոշակի քվե ստանալու երաշխիքը ընդդիմադիր հայացքներ ունենալն էր, քանի որ հասարակության գերակշիռ մասն էր դժգոհ իշխանություններից, ապա այսօր բացարձակ հակառակ բևեռում ենք: Նոր իշխանություններն իրենց հայտարարում են ժողովրդի իշխանություն՝ այսպիսով իրենց հակադրվող ցանկացած մեկի մեխանիկորեն հակաժողովրդական «տիտղոսին» արժանացնելու հեռանկարով: Արդյունքում (նաև հաշվի առնելով, որ էյֆորիկ տրամադրություններն ու հատկապես սոցիալական ցանցերում շատերի շրջանում որևէ քննադատություն ադեկվատորեն ընկալելու գրեթե իսպառ բացակայությունը) առավել զգուշավոր է դառնում քաղաքական ուժերի զգալի մասը: Նրանք աշխատում են կա՛մ առայժմ ձայն չհանել, կա՛մ հնարավորիս դրական արտահայտվել նոր իշխանությունների մասին, կա՛մ գոնե հայտարարել, թե նոր են, դեռ թող աշխատեն: Սակայն այստեղ առկա է շատ լուրջ վտանգ: Մի կողմից խնդիր ունենք անկեղծության դոզայի նվազման հետ, քանզի վերոնշյալ ուժերը, կրկնենք, ոչ միշտ են կողմ կառավարության բոլոր քայլերին, բայց զգուշանում են քննադատել: Մյուս կողմից, առաջ է գալիս ընդդիմադիր դաշտի մոնոպոլիզացման վտանգ: Իսկ ՀՀԿ-ի պարագայում լիարժեք օբյեկտիվություն ակնկալել իր ընդդիմադիր կեցվածքում ուղղակի լուրջ չէ: Չի էլ կարող այդպես լինել: Իսկ ցանկացած իշխանություն, որը չունի օբյեկտիվ, անկաշկանդ ու ինստիտուցիոնալ ընդդիմություն, շատ արագ կթուլանա, կկորցնի հեղինակությունը և կկատարի բոլոր այն սխալները, ինչ նախորդները: Ինչպես կասեր բանաստեղծը՝ գուցե «դեռ մի բան էլ ավելի»:
