Խաչ. քրիստոնեությունն այն որպես խորհրդանիշ ընդունել է ավելի ուշ

Մենք գիտենք, որ... Խաչը բացառապես քրիստոնեական սուրբ խորհրդանիշ է: Բոլորին հայտնի է, որ խաչը քրիստոնեության սուրբ խորհրդանիշերից մեկն է, քանի որ Քրիստոսը նահատակվել է խաչված վիճակում և այդպիսով փրկել մարդկությանը։
Արդյո՞ք այդպես է:
Իրականում ի սկզբանե խաչը եղել է հեթանոսների խորհրդանիշը։ Դեռևս մեր թվարկությունից 2 դար առաջ Բաբելոնում Աստվածության խորհրդանիշը խաչն էր, այդպես էր նաև Եգիպտոսում, Ասորեստանում, Հնդկաստանում, անգամ Հարավային Ամերիկայում և Եվրոպայում, նաև՝ Հայաստանում (այդ ամենը հաստատված է հնէաբանական հետազոտություններով)։ Պնդել, թե հին մարդիկ գիտեին Քրիստոսի գալստյան մասին և այդ նպատակով մեծարում էին խաչը, անհնար է, քանի որ դա հերքում է Սուրբ գիրքը՝ Ավետարանը , ըստ որի՝ անգամ սատանան չգիտեր Աստծո որդու գալստյան մասին, էլ ինչ մնաց հասարակ մահկանացուները իմանային։
Ի դեպ, քրիստոնեական որոշ աղանդներ չեն ընդունում խաչը (Եհովայի վկաներ, մորմոններ, մոլոկաններ)։ Որոշ գիտնականներ, վերլուծելով Ավետարանի և հին հունական ձեռագրերի գրառումները, եկել են եզրակացության, որ Քրիստոսին մահապատժի են ենթարկել ոչ թե խաչի, այլ սյան վրա։ Երկու մեթոդն էլ այն ժամանակ ընդունված էր հռոմեացիների մոտ (խաչելու մեթոդով մահապատժի ձևը նրանք փոխառել էին իրենց մահացու թշնամուց՝ Կարթագենից):
Խաչը որպես խորհրդանիշ քրիստոնեությունը սկսել է օգտագործել միայն սկսած 4–րդ դարից։ Փաստորեն Հայաստանը քրիստոնեությունը որպես պետական կրոն ընդունել է առանց խաչի։ Առաջին խաչը պաշտողներից մեկը եղել է հռոմեական կայսր Կոնստանդին Մեծը, որը լինելով հեթանոս՝ ընդունեց քրիստոնեությունը որպես պետական կրոն, հրամայեց ոչնչացնել բոլոր հեթանոսական տաճարները և կառուցեց Կոնստանդնուպոլիսը, որպես կայսրության մայրաքաղաք (ըստ լեգենդի, մի ճակատամարտի ժամանակ գիշերը նրան երևացել է Քրիստոսը, իսկ հաջորդ օրը երկնքում երևացել է մեծ խաչ և շշուկ, որ հաղթելու է)։
Հետաքրքիր է, որ այս խորհրդանիշերից մեկը վերցրել է քրիստոնեությունը, իսկ մյուսը՝ իսլամը։ Սա հնարավորություն է տալիս եզրակացնել, որ այն ժամանակ էլ են եղել գովազդի գծով մասնագետներ, սոցիոլոգիական հարցումներ անցկացնողներ, փիար տեխնոլոգներ և դիզայներներ։
