Հայաստանի Հանրապետական կուսակցությունը մտահոգված է ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում տիրող իրավիճակով: ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀԿ խոսնակ, Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: «Մենք մեկ անգամ չէ, որ ասել ենք, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը պետք է լուծվի բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով, Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահության ձևաչափում, երեք հայտնի սկզբունքների հիման վրա, որտեղ Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքն անքակտելի սկզբունք է»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ նշեց Շարմազանովը:

Նա հավելեց, որ առանց Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի ամբողջական իրացման արցախյան հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորումն անհնար է: «Եվ մենք հույս ունենք, որ համանախագահները կշարունակեն իրենց ջանքերը ներդնել այդ երեք սկզբունքների հիման վրա խնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորմանը հասնելու համար»,- ասաց նա:

Շարմազանովը մտահոգիչ համարեց նաև հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին՝ Նախիջևանի հատվածում ադրբեջանական զինտեխնիկայի կուտակումը, Ադրբեջանից հնչող ռազմատենչ հռետորաբանությունը, Ադրբեջանի կողմից հայ զինվորի սպանությունը: «Սա ուղիղ մարտահրավեր է խաղաղ բանակցություններին, և սա ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան խաղաղ բանակցությունների տորպեդահարման փորձ»,- նշեց ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:

Մեկնաբանելով Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուի հայտարարությունը, թե ինքը նաև Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարն է՝ Շարմազանովն ընդգծեց, որ սա ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան պանթուրքիզմի և նեոօսմանիզմի ցայտուն դրսևորում:

Անդրադառնալով Արցախում տիրող ներքաղաքական իրավիճակին՝ Շարմազանովը կարծիք հայտնեց, որ Արցախում ներքաղաքական որոշակի ակտիվացումը չի բխում այդ երկրի շահերից: «Մենք գտնում ենք, որ Արցախում անհրաժեշտ է ներքին կայունություն: Դա ոչ միայն արցախահայության շահերից է բխում, այլ բխում է մեր ընդհանուր տեսլականից: Մեզ անհրաժեշտ է ուժեղ, միասնական և կայուն Արցախ:
