Էջմիածնի քաղաքապետ Կարեն Գրիգորյանն արդեն գտնվում է Արմավիրի մարզպետարանում: Մարզպետը լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ իրենք սպասում են նաեւ քաղաքապետի հրաժարականը պահանջող կողմի ներկայացուցիչներին՝ օպտիմալ լուծում գտնելու համար:
«Քանի նոր Էջմիածինը բոլոր հայերի սուրբ քաղաքն է, նաեւ թեմի առաջնորդն է այստեղ։ Մեծ պատրաստակամությամբ սպասում ենք նաեւ հրաժարական պահանջողներին, որ միասին գտնենք օպտիմալ լուծումը ստեղծված իրավիճակից»,-ասաց մարզետը։
Մարզպետ Գագիկ Միրիջանյանի խոսքով՝ իրենք դիտարկում են խնդրի լուծման 3 գլոբալ տարբերակ՝ կամ բավարարվում են քաղաքապետի պահանջները, կամ բավարարվում են ցուցարարների պահանջները, կամ պետք է գտնել ճանապարհային քարտեզ, եւ այդ ճանապարհով փորձել լուծում ունենալ: «Ճանապարհային քարտեզը պետք է լինի միայն ու միայն քննարկումների արդյունքում»,-ասաց Գագիկ Միրիջանյանը:
Նա նշեց, որ Էջմիածնի քաղաքապետարանում դեռ ստուգումներ չեն սկսել, բայց չի բացառվում, որ դա տեղի ունենա. «միայն ու միայն իրավական հիմք ունենալու պարագայում, այն էլ մարզպետարանի կամ տարածքային ինքնակառավարման մարմինների լիազորությունների ներքո կամ վարչական վարույթներով»։
