ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի խոսնակ Տիգրան Բալայանը կեղծիք է որակում ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցի տարածած լուրերը Նախիջևանի հատվածում 11 հազար հեկտար հողերի գրավման մասին: ԱԳՆ խոսնակը կոչ արեց հիմք ընդունել միայն պաշտպանության նախարարության պաշտոնական տեղեկատվությունը: «Վերջին զրույցը, որ պաշտպանության նախարարության մեր գործընկերների հետ ունեցել ենք, կես ժամ առաջ էր, երեկ երեկոյան, այսօր առավոտյան ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցներով 11 հազար հեկտարի միասին տեղեկատվություն էր տարածվել, թե լուրջ մարտեր են ընթանում, հարձակում է պլանավորվում: Այս ամենը կեղծիք է, խնդրում եմ հիմնվել միայն մեր պաշտպանության նախարարության պաշտոնական տեղեկատվության վրա, որն այս տարիներին որևէ կասկածի տեղիք չի տվել»,-ասաց Տիգրան Բալայանը:

ԱԳՆ խոսնակը հավելեց, որ Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության մեջ դիվանագիտության առջև դրված խնդիրներից է միջազգային հանրությանը տեղեկացել Ադրբեջանի կողմից ՀՀ սահմանին և ԼՂ շփման գծում զինտեխնիկայի և մարդկային ուժի կուտակումների մասին ու դրա միջոցով կանխարգելել հնարավոր սրումը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է հանգամանքին, որ այդ ամենն Ադրբեջանն անում է այն ժամանակ, երբ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներն են տարածաշրջանում, Տիգրան Բալայանն ասաց. «Մեր մոտեցումները հրապարակային են, մենք հատուկ մեկնաբանություն տվեցինք Արցախում զինվորի սպանության հետ կապված Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների այցելության նախօրեին: Սադրանք, որի հետևանքով պաշտպանության բանակի զինծառայող է զոհվել, դա ևս մեկ անգամ ի ցույց է դնում Ադրբեջանի արհամարհական վերաբերմունքն իր հանձնառություններին և առաջին հերթին՝ համանախագահ երկրների և համանախագահության ինստիտուտի հանդեպ»:
