Ադրբեջանի կողմից այս փուլում նախիջեւանյան ուղղությամբ սպառնալիքներ չկան. գեներալ-մայոր

Հայաստանի համար Նախիջեւանն ապրիորի սպառնալիք է ներկայացնում: Այս մասին հունիսի 21-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ասաց Հայաստանի սահմանապահ զորքերի նախկին հրամանատար, գեներալ-մայոր Լեւոն Ստեփանյանը՝ մեկնաբանելով հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի նախիջեւանյան հատվածում հակառակորդի զորքերի տեղաշարժերը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ այսօրվա դրությամբ Նախիջեւանը չափազանց ռազմականացված է, ինչը միջազգային նորմերի ակնհայտ խախտում է: Ադրբեջանական զորքերից բացի, այնտեղ են գտնվում նաեւ թուրքական բանակային կազմավորումներ, ինչն անթույլատրելի է: Գեներալ-մայորը նաեւ նշեց, որ այս տարածաշրջանում զորավարժություններ են անցկացվել նաեւ նախկինում:

Ստեփանյանը հիշեցրեց, որ Նախիջեւանը հնագույն ժամանակներից Հայաստանի պատմական տարածքն էր, սակայն 1921 թվականից սկսած Նախիջեւանի հայ բնակչությունն աստիճանաբար դուրս մղվեց: Արդյունքում հայկական հետքն ամբողջությամբ ջնջվեց: «Ես ցանկանում եմ, որ բնակչությունն իմանա, որ Նախիջեւանը հովանավորության ներքո է, որի համար պատասխանատու են ե՛ւ Թուրքիան, ե՛ւ Ռուսաստանը: Իսկ Հայաստանը Ռուսաստանի հետ ռազմական համաձայնագիր ունի եւ ՀԱՊԿ անդամ է, որի հետ քիչ հույսեր է կապում, սակայն համաձայնագիրն, այդուհանդերձ, կա»,- հավելեց նախկին գլխավոր սահմանապահը:

Նրա կարծիքով՝ այս փուլում չարժի նախիջեւանյան ուղղությամբ Ադբեջանի կողմից ուղղակի սպառնալիք սպասել, քանի որ հակառակորդի զորքերի ակտիվացումը միայն բանակցային գործընթացում հայկական կողմի վրա ճնշում գործադրելու միջոց է: Դրանից զատ, ինչպես նշեց գեներալ-մայորը, Բաքվում գիտեն, որ Հայաստանը տեղեկացված է իրենց իրական հնարավորություններին եւ պատրաստ է իրադարձությունների տարբեր զարգացմանը:

Լեւոն Ստեփանյանը շեշտեց, որ Հեյդար Ալեւն ավելի հեռատես քաղաքական գործիչ էր, քան Ադրբեջանի ներկայիս առաջնորդը, եւ ամեն ինչ արել էր Հայաստանի քաղաքական ղեկավարության հետ շփման եզրեր գտնելու համար, քանի որ հասկանում էր իրավիճակի ամբողջ լրջությունը:
