«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Մայիսի 11–ին ՀՀ տարածքային կառավարման և զարգացման նախարար նշանակված Սուրեն Պապիկյանը Բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնատար անձանց էթիկայի հանձնաժողովին է ներկայացրել իր՝ 2018 թ. պաշտոնը ստանձնելու հայտարարագիրը:
Սուրեն Պապիկյանը հայտարարագրել է մեկ հողամաս ու «NISSAN TEANA 2.3» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենա: Պաշտոնը ստանձնելու օրվա դրությամբ ունեցել է փոխառություններ, որոնք կազմել են 12 միլիոն 726 հազար դրամ:
Դրամական միջոցները մայիսի 11–ի դրությամբ կազմել են 1 միլիոն 300 հազար դրամ ու 1400 ամերիկյան դոլար, իսկ եկամուտները՝ 1 միլիոն 801 հազար դրամ, որը երեք տարբեր աշխատավարձերի հանրագումար է:
Սուրեն Պապիկյանը «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցության անդամ է, մասնագիտությամբ պատմաբան է: 2009–2011 թթ. գլխավորել է ԵՊՀ պատմության ֆակուլտետի ուսանողական գիտական ընկերությունը: 2010– 2016 թթ. իբրև պատմության ուսուցիչ աշխատել է Երևանի թիվ 54 ավագ դպրոցում, 2011 թ.՝ «Քվանտ» վարժարանում: 2012–2016 թթ. սովորել է Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի պետական համալսա–րանի ասպիրանտուրայում:
