«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Առողջապահության նախարարությունը հայտնում է պատվաստումների քաղաքականության մեջ առաջիկա փոփոխությունների մասին: Ինչպես «Փաստ»–ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունից, հայտարարության մեջ ասվում է. 

«Պարզաբանենք հետևյալը. նախ հնգավալենտ (դիֆթերիա, փայտացում, կապույտ հազ, հեպատիտ Բ, հեմոֆիլուսային Բ վարակ) և բերանային (կաթիլով ստացվող) պոլիոմիելիտի պատվաստանյութերը կփոխարինվեն միանգամից մեկ՝ վեցավալենտ պատվաստանյութով: 

Երեխան պատվաստումների այսօրվա օրացույցով ստանում է 4 դեղաչափ հնգավալենտ պատվաստում և դրանց հետ 5 դեղաչափ բերանային կենդանի և 1 դեղաչափ ապաակտիվացված ներարկման պոլիոմիելիտի պատվաստանյութ: 

Փոփոխության արդյունքում երեխան կստանա միայն 4 դեղաչափ վեցավալենտ պատվաստանյութ՝ պահանջվող նվազագույն քանակը (դիֆթերիա, փայտացում, կապույտ հազ, հեպատիտ Բ, հեմոֆիլուսային Բ վարակ, ապաակտիվացված պոլիոմելիտ): Վեցավալենտն ամբողջությամբ կփոխարինի ներկայում ստացվող հնգավալենտ պատվաստմանը՝ մեկտեղելով մինչ այժմ առանձին ստացվող պատվաստանյութերը: 

Բացի այդ, Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության երաշխավորմամբ, փոխվում է պոլիոմիելիտի պատվաստանյութի բաղադրությունը. դրա մեջ մտնող թեև թուլացված, բայց կենդանի վիրուսը փոխարինվում է ոչ կենդանի, ապաակտիվացված վիրուսով: Նախատեսվում է մինչև 2020 թվականն ապահովել «Աշխարհն առանց պոլիոմիելիտի» կարգավիճակը, որի շրջանակներում բոլոր երկրները 2018–ից աստիճանաբար կատարում են նշված փոփոխությունը: Հայաստանը ևս որդեգրում է ԱՀԿ մոտեցումն ու այս աշնանից փուլային անցում կկատարի պատվաստումների նոր ընթացակարգին:

Այս մոտեցումն արդեն կիրառվում է զարգացած տարբեր պետություններում, ինչպես նաև հետխորհրդային մի շարք երկրներում՝ Վրաստան, Մերձբալթյան հանրապետություններ, և փաստել է իր արդյունավետությունը: 

Բացի պոլիոմիելիտի պատվաստանյութից՝ փոփոխվում է նաև կապույտ հազի բաղադրիչը. դեղաչափը մնում է նույնը, փոխվում է հակածինների կազմը: 

Այս համատեքստում որոնք են հնգավալենտի և վեցավալենտի տարբերությունները. –Վեցավալենտն առավել փոքր թվով երեխաների մոտ կառաջացնի ջերմային ռեակցիա, քանի որ դրա բաղադրության մեջ կապույտ հազի հակածինները մոտ հինգ անգամ պակաս են:

–Ակնկալվում է, որ հետպատվաստումային առավել թեթև ընթացքի դեպքում կավելանա պատվաստումների քանակը, ինչի արդյունքում կնվազի կապույտ հազով ընհանուր հիվանդացությունը: Այնինչ, նկատենք, որ վերջին շրջանում վարակի որոշակի աշխուժացում է նկատվում:

Պատվաստանյութերի մեկտեղմամբ պատվաստումների թվի կրճատումը՝ 3 ներարկման փոխարեն 2–ը, նաև հոգեբանական ազդեցություն կունենա: 

Միաժամանակ, նախարարությունը վստահեցնում է, որ պատվաստման ողջ գործընթացի պատշաճ իրականացումը, մաս ն ա վ ո ր ա պես, ընթացակարգերի ճշգրիտ պահպանումը և հետպատվաստումային դիտարկումներն առաջնահերթ են և մշտապես գտնվում են ուշադրության առանցքում»:
