ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ Սինգապուրում Հյուսիսային Կորեայի առաջնորդ ԿԻմ Չեն Ընի հետ գագաթնաժողովին Կորեական թերակղզու ապամիջուկայնացման մասին ձեռքբերված պայմանավորվածությունների իրականացումն արդեն սկսվում է, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Գործընթացն արդեն սկսվում է, եւ մենք Հյուսիսային Կորեայի հետ հետագա բանակցություններն ենք վարում»,-ասել է Թրամփը՝ ելույթով հանդես գալով Լաս Վեգասում՝ ամերիկյան ընկերությունների ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպմանը։

Թրամփի խոսքով, «կարեւոր է, որ մենք արդեն չենք տեսնում Ճապոնիայի երկնքով թռչող հյուսիսկորեական հրթիռներ, չենք տեսնում միջուկային փորձարկումներ»։

«Կարեւոր է նաեւ այն, որ ԿԻմ Չեն Ընի հետ ձեւավորվել են շատ լավ հարաբերություններ։ Նա խելացի, կոշտ բանակցող է։ Կարծում եմ՝ նա տեսնում է, որ Հյուսիսային Կորեան կարող է հրաշալի ապագա ունենալ։ Մենք ցանկանում ենք, որ Հյուսիսային Կորեան միջուկային զենք չունենա։ Հիմա իրադարձությունները զգալիորեն արագ են զարգանում, քան որեւէ մեկը կարող էր պատկերացնել։ Չէ՞ որ մինչ իմ նախագահ ընտրվելը տպավորություն էր ստեղծվել, որ մենք պատրաստվում ենք պատերազմ սկսել Հյուսիսային Կորեայի դեմ, որը կարող էր 50 մլն մարդու կյանք արժենալ։ Միայն Սեուլում, որի ուղղությամբ են ուղղված հազարավոր հյուսիսկորեական զենքեր, ապրում է 28 մլն մարդ։ Իսկ հիմա, կարծում եմ, նրանք բոլորը անվտանգ են»,-հավելել է նա։
