Իսկ նարինջն իրականում նարնջագույն չէ
SOCIETYՀասած նարինջը լինում է նարնջագույն։ Անգամ գույնի անունն է առաջացել այդ մրգի անունից։
Վերնագիրը թող չշփոթեցնի, սա գրիգորիչյան «գողությունը գողանալ բառը չէ» շարքից չէ: Իրականում նարնջի իսկական գույնը... կանաչն է։ Նարինջը նարնջագույն է միայն ներսից։ Նարինջ արտադրող երկրների մեծ մասում այն վաճառվում է արտաքինից կանաչ վիճակում, և, իհարկե, դրանք խակ չեն լինում։
Նարնջի հայրենիքն անհայտ է։ Համարվում է, որ այն մանդարինի և պամելայի հիբրիդ է։ Առաջին անգամ աճեցվել է Հարավ– արևել յան Ասիայում։ Նարինջը ոչ թե տրոպիկական, այլ սուբտրոպիկական միրգ է և գույնը կախված է լինում նրանից, թե որտեղ է աճում։ Շոգ վայրերում (որտեղ և հիմնականում արդյունաբերական նպատակով աճեցվում է այն) նարնջի կեղևը՝ ցեդրան, կանաչ էլ մնում է, իսկ բարեխառն կլիմայով վայրերում օդի ջերմաստիճանի անկման հետ կեղևում պարունակվող կանաչ քլորոֆիլը քայքայվում է և նարինջը դառնում է նարնջագույն։ Եթե նարինջը չպոկեն ծառից՝ այն այդպես էլ մինչև հաջորդ տարի կմնա ծառի վրա՝ չփչանալով և փոխելով գույնը կանաչից նարնջագույն և հակառակը՝ կապված եղանակի հետ։
Գույնով որոշել նարնջի հասունության աստիճանը՝ անհնար է։ Պարզ է, որ եթե մեր մոտ վաճառվի կանաչ նարինջ, ոչ մեկը չի գնի այն։ Այդ իսկ պատճառով նարինջը արտահանվում է արդեն «նարնջագույն ներկված» վիճակում։ Այդ նպատակով օգտագործվում է նավթային արդյունաբերության առաջացրած կողմնակի արդյունքը՝ էթիլեն գազը, որը օգտագործվում է պլաստմասայի արտադրության համար։ էթիլենը գունազրկում է նարնջի բնական կանաչ գույնը և ստացվում է նարնջագույն։ Մինչև 1955 թվականը ամերիկյան նարինջները նարնջագույն էին դառնում սինթետիկ ներկերով ներկելու միջոցով։ Ներկայումս դա արգելված է։ էթիլենը անվնաս գազ է՝ առանց համի և հոտի, և ոչ մի վնաս օրգանիզմին չի տալիս, բայց կարող է գունաթափել այլ մթերքներ: Օրինակ, եթե նարնջի հետ սառնարանում պահեք կարմիր խնձոր, ապա այն կարող է գույնը փոխել։
Հուսանք, որ մեր առողջ սննդի ջատագովները չեն սկսի չուտել այս ներկած միրգը ու մեզ էլ կոչ չեն անի չուտել։ Հուսանք նաև, որ չի արգելվի նարնջագույն նարնջի ներմուծումը Հայաստան։ Եթե այդպես լինի, կստանանք այն, ինչ բանանի ներմուծման դեպքում է. միայն մեզ բոլորիս հայտնի անձը կներմուծի կանաչ նարինջ և արդեն այստեղ կներկի այն՝ ստանալով նարնջագույն։ Իսկ այ, թե ինչ ներկով, դժվար չէ երևակայել...
