Սիրիայի շուրջ բանակցությունների Վիեննայի ձեւաչափը գրեթե իդեալական Է, Ռուսաստանը հանդես Է գալիս այդ աշխատանքը շարունակելու օգտին: Այդ մասին հայտարարել Է ՌԴ-ի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի՝ Սիրիայի խնդրով հատուկ պատվիրակ Ստաֆան դե Միստուրայի հետ կայացած բանակցությունների ընթ ացքում:
«Մենք ուրախ ենք Վիեննայում հանդիպման տաք հետքերով այն բանի շուրջ կարծիքներ փոխանակելու հնարավորություն համար, թե ինչպես կարելի Է առաջ տանել գործընթացը, որի պարամետրերի շուրջ մենք պայմանավորվել ենք,-ասել Է Լավրովը:-Վիեննայի հանդիպումը գրեթե իդեալական ձեւաչափ Է, գումարված ճիշտ ժամանակին, մենք շահագրգռված ենք դրա ամրապնդմամբ»:
«Արտաքին խաղորդների խնդիրն Է՝ սիրիացիներին օգնել բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջը նստել իրենց պետության ու ժողովրդի մասին հոգատարության հիման վրա»,-հավելել Է նա:
«Արտաքին խաղորդների համար, որոնք վճռորոշ ազդեցություն են գործում ընդդիմության տարբեր խմբերի վրա, անհրաժեշտ Է օգտագործել իրենց ազդեցությունը, որպեսզի այդ ջոկատները քաղաքական բանակցություններին մասնակցեն կառուցողական պլատֆորմով, որպեսզի նրանք չփորձեն «վերմակն իրենց կողմը ձգել», ձեւավորեն միասնական պատվիրակություն»,-ասել Է Լավրովը՝ պատասխանելով ՏԱՍՍ-ի հարցին:
Լավրովը հավելել Է, որ Ռուսաստանն ակտիվորեն պաշտպանում Է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի՝ Սիրիայի խնդրով հատուկ պատվիրակ Ստաֆան դե Միստուրայի ջանքերը:
«Ռուսաստանն ակտիվորեն պաշտպանում Է պարոն դե Միստուրայի ջանքերը, որը Վիեննայի հանդիպումից (հոկտեմբերի 30-ին) անմիջապես հետո ուղեւորություններ Է սկսել հարցերի լուծման մեջ առաջընթացի հասնելու, միջսիրիական երկխոսության շուտափույթ գործարկման համար հող նախապատրաստելու նպատակով»,-հայտնել Է Լավրովը:
Ռուսաստանի դիվանագիտական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը հույս Է հայտնել, որ «ինչ-որ փուլում» Սիրիայում կհաջողվի հրադադար հայտարարել:
