ՄԹ արտաքին գործերի և համագործակցության նախարարության Մշտական քարտուղարը կայցելի Հայաստան

Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորության արտաքին գործերի և համագործակցության նախարարության Մշտական քարտուղար և Դիվանագիտական ծառայության ղեկավար սըր Սայմոն Մքդոնալդը հուլիսի 6-ին առաջին անգամ կայցելի Հայաստան։ Սըր Սայմոնը հանդիպումներ կունենա ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի, Առաջին փոխվարչապետ Արարատ Միրզոյանի, Արտաքին գործերի նախարար Զոհրաբ Մնացականյանի և այլ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների հետ։ Հանդիպումների ընթացքում կքննարկվեն Հայաստանի կառավարության բարեփոխումների ծրագիրը և ՄԹ աջակցությունը Հայաստանին։

 

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին Միացյալ Թագավորության դեսպանությունից, Սըր Սայմոնը «Դիվանագիտությունը 21-րդ դարում» թեմայով ելույթ կունենա Հայաստանի դիվանագիտական դպրոցի ապագա դիվանագետների համար։ Նա նաև հանդիպում կունենա ՄԹ կրթական ծրագրերի շրջանավարտների և Հայաստանի քաղաքացիական հասարակության ներկայացուցիչների հետ։

 

Իր այցին ընդառաջ` Մշտական քարտուղար սըր Սայմոն Մքդոնալդն ասել է.

 

«Ես ուրախ եմ այցելելու Հայաստան՝ մեր երկկողմ հարաբերությունների կարևորությունն ընդգծելու նպատակով։ Առկա են համագործակցության նոր հնարավորություններ, որոնցից հարկ է օգտվել Միացյալ Թագավորության և Հայաստանի միջև տնտեսական ու քաղաքական հարաբերությունների խորացմանն ու ամրապնդմանը զուգընթաց»։

 

Սըր Սայմոնի այցը հաջորդում է ՄԹ գործարար պատվիրակության այցին: Վերջինս տեղի է ունեցել հունիս ամսին, Վրաստանում և Հայաստանում ՄԹ առևտրի և ներդրումների հարցերով հանձնակատար, խորհրդարանական Մարկ Փրիթչարդի ղեկավարությամբ` նպատակ ունենալով ներկայացնել բրիտանական գործարարության համար առկա հնարավորությունները։
