Ֆրանսիան հաղթեց Ուրուգվային և դուրս եկավ մունդիալի կիսաեզրափակիչ
SPORTՖուտբոլի աշխարհի առաջնության քառորդ եզրափակչում Ուրուգվայի հավաքականը Նիժնի Նովգորոդ քաղաքում մրցեց Ֆրանսիայի ընտրանու հետ:
«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ հանդիպման առաջին իսկ րոպեից թիմերը բարձր տեմպ էին հաղորդել խաղին: Սակայն քիչ-քիչ հավաքականները սկսեցին զգույշ գործել և կենտրոնանալ պաշտպանության վրա: Այս խաղը ռեկորդային էր Ուրուգվայի ազգային թիմի ավագ Դիեգո Գոդին համար, ով 8-րդ անգամ որպես ավագ մասնակեց «աղավնիների» պաշտոնական խաղին: Երկու թիմերն էլ մի շարք հնարավորություն ունեին բացելու խաղի հաշիվը, բայց գնդակն այդպես էլ չէր հայտնվում ցանցի ներսում: Գնդակին ավելի շատ տիրում էին ֆրանսիացիները: Նրանք առաջատար էին նաև ճիշտ փոխանցումների վիճակագրությամբ:
Խաղակեսի վերջնամասում՝ 40-րդ րոպեին, Ֆրանսիայի հավաքականն օգտվեց ստանդարտ դիրքից: Գրիզմանի փոխանցումից հետո Ռաֆայել Վառանը գլխի հարվածով բացեց հանդիպման հաշիվը: Սա Վառանի անդրանիկ գնդակն է «կապույտների» պաշտոնական խաղերում: Մինչ այս նա աչքի էր ընկել միայն ընկերական հանդիպումներում (2 գոլ): Ուրուգվայի հավաքականի առաջատար Լուիս Սուարեսը այդպես էլ առաջին կեսում ոչ մի հնարավորություն չունեցավ իր որակները ցույց տալու:
Երկրորդ կեսի մեկնարկային րոպեներին գրոհների հիմնական մասը կազմակերպում էին ֆրանսիացիները: Ուրուգվայն էլ ուզում էր օգտվել հակագրոհներից: 61-րդ րոպեին անհավանական կերպով սխալվեց Ուրուգվայի հավաքականի դարպասապահը, ով Անտուան Գրիզմանի հարվածից հետո նախ կարծես որսաց գնդակը, բայց սխալվեց և այն հայտնվեց դարպասում՝ 0:2:
Խաղակեսի վերջնամասում Ֆրանսիան շեշտը դրեց պաշտպանության վրա և գնդակին ավելի շատ տիրում էին Ուրուգվայի ընտրանու ֆուտբոլիստները: 1978 թվականի ԱԱ-ից հետո Ֆրանսիայի ընտրանին ոչ մի անգամ չի պարտվել Հարավային Ամերիկան ներկայացնող թիմերի դեմ խաղերում: Եվ եվրոպացիները կարողացան պահպանել հաղթական 2:0 հաշիվը և դուրս եկան մունդիալի կիսաեզրափակիչ:
