Ո՞վ է հրդեհել Հռոմը և ի՞նչ կապ ունի Ներոնը
SOCIETYՄենք գիտենք, որ...
Ներոնը հրամայել է վառել Հռոմը, իսկ ինքն անվնաս հեռավորությունից դիտել է տեսարանը՝ դերասանական հագուստով, քնարը ձեռքին՝ նվագելով և Տրոյայի կործանման մասին պոեմ երգելով։
Իրականում այդպես չի եղել։ Հիմա դժվար է ասել, թե ինչից է սկսվել հրդեհը, բայց այն, որ դա Ներոնն է կազմակերպել, սխալ է։ Հրդեհը սկսվել է 64 թվականի հուլիսի 19–ի գիշերը քաղաքի հարավ–արևելան հատվածից և շարունակվել է մոլեգնել հինգ օր։ Արդյունքում Հռոմի 14 շրջաններից միայն 4–ն են անվնաս մնացել։ Հրդեհի գիշերը Ներոնը գտնվում էր Հռոմից 56 կմ հեռավորությամբ գտնվող ծովափնյա ամառանոցում։ Իմանալով հրդեհի մասին՝ նա անմիջապես մեկնում է Հռոմ և անձամբ սկսում ղեկավարել հրդեհաշիջման աշխատանքները, իր հաշվին կազմավորում է մարդկանց և շինությունները փրկող ջոկատներ, բացում է իր պալատների դռները անտուն մնացած մարդկանց համար, իր հաշվին կազմակերպում է սննդամթերքի մատակարարումը մարդկանց։ Հետագայում Ներոնը անձամբ է մասնակցել նոր քաղաքի նախագծման աշխատանքներին՝ նախատեսելով, որ փողոցները լայն լինեն, շենքերը լինեն միայն քարից, ունենան ելք դեպի փողոց և իրարից որոշակիորեն հեռու լինեն։ Քաղաքի՝ հսկայական գումարներ պահանջող շինարարությունը հնարավոր է եղել իրականացնել սեղմ ժամկետներում։ Գումարները գանձվել են պրովինցիաներից՝ հատուկ հարկի ձևով։
Ներոնը բավականին հակասական կերպար էր, որպես Հռոմեական կայսրության տիրակալ։ Նա բավականին դաժան էր (իհարկե, չենք կարող գտնել մի կայսր, որ դաժան չի եղել) և միևնույն ժամանակ արվեստասեր էր, ստեղծագործող։ Այն, որ Ներոնն է հրամայել վառել Հռոմը, ենթադրվում է նրանից, որ Ներոնը Հռոմը չէր սիրում և բազմիցս ասել էր, որ պետք է վառել այն։ Բացի այդ, հրդեհից հետո նա սկսեց մեղավորներ փնտրել և կանգ առավ քրիստոնյաների վրա։ Հրդեհից մի քանի օր անց հայտարարվեց, որ նրանք են այրել Հռոմը, և սկսվեցին նրանց զանգվածային մահապատիժները՝ տարատեսակ ձևերով և ի ցույց բոլորի։ Հետագայում արդեն, երբ քրիստոնյաներն էին իշխանության՝ քաղաքի կործանման ամբողջ մեղքը գցվեց Ներոնի վրա։
Եթե հանկարծ, Աստված մի արասցե, Հայաստանում հրդեհ սկսվի որևէ քրիստոնեական եկեղեցում, համոզված եմ՝ նախ՝ կմեղադրվեն եհովայի վկաները կամ էլ, ասենք, հոգեգալստականները, իսկ հետագայում արդեն մեղավորության սլաքը կուղղվի այլ բարձր աթոռ, ասենք՝ վարչապետի, և կմոռացվի այն, որ ինչ–որ մեկը շրջակայքում մոռացել էր մարել ծխախոտի (ականջդ կանչի, Լևոն Ալթունյան) մնացորդը՝ իրեն երևակայելով Հերոստրատ:
