ԱՄՆ-ն Հյուսիսային Կորեայի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցների մեղմացում դեռեւս չի նախատեսում

ԱՄՆ-ն գտնում է, որ Հյուսիսային Կորեայի հետ բանակցություններում առաջընթաց կա, սակայն դեռեւս մտադիր չէ մեղմացնել Փհենյանի նկատմամբ պատժամիջոցների ռեժիմը։ Սա ընդգծել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Մայքլ Պոմպեոն՝ հանդես գալով Տոկիոյում կայացած Ճապոնիայի եւ Կորեայի Հանրապետության գործընկերների հետ եռակողմ բանակցությունների արդյունքների ամփոփման մամուլի ասուլիսին։

Սրա հետ մեկտեղ, Հյուսիսային Կորեայի ԱԳՆ-ն ափսոսանք է հայտնել Փհենյանում կայացած բանակցություններում Պոմպեոյի գլխավորած պատվիրակության զբաղեցրած դիրքորոշման առնչությամբ։ Հյուսիսային Կորեայի իշխանությունները զգուշացրել են, որ ապամիջուկայնացման իրենց ձգտումը կարող է տատանվել։

«Եվ, այսպիսով, չնայած մենք ոգեշնչված ենք բանակցություններում գրանցած առաջընթացով, մի առաջընթացը չի արդարացնում գոյություն ունեցող պատժամիջոցների ռեժիմի մեղմացումը»,-հայտարարել է Պոմպեոն։

«Բացի այդ, Հյուսիսային Կորեան համաձայնել է հուլիսի կեսերին հանդիպում անցկացնել Փհանմունջոմում, որ քննարկենք ամերիկացի զինծառայողների (Կորեական պատերազմի տարիներին զոհվածների) մնացորդների հայրենադարձության հարցը։ Հյուսիսային Կորեան նաեւ հաստատել է, որ ուժի մեջ է մնում ավելի վաղ ստանձնած պարտավորությունը հրթիռային շարժիչների փորձարկումների պոլիգոնի ոչնչացման մասին»,-հավելել է պետքարտուղարը։
