Ազգությամբ հայ, սակայն ՀՀ քաղաքացի չհանդիսացող երիտասարդները չեն կարող զորակոչվել ծառայության Հայաստանում:

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ՀՀ ՊՆ կենտրոնական հավաքակայանում կազմակերպված ճեպազրույցի ընթացքում, այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի տեղակալ Գաբրիել Բալայանը։

«ՀՀ  Սահմանադրության մեջ  հստակ գրված է, որ յուրաքանչյուր քաղաքացի պարտավոր է մասնակցել ՀՀ սահմանների պաշտպանությանը օրենքով սահմանված կարգով: Այս պարտավորությունները բացառապես մեր քաղաքացիների համար են, քանի որ ազգությամբ հայ, սակայն ՀՀ քաղաքացի չհանդիսացողները չեն կարող զորակոչվել ծառայության Հայաստանում»,- նշեց Բալայանը և հավելեց, որ օրենքով դա արգելվում է:

Անդրադառնալով այն հարցին, որ այդ տղաներն, այնուամենայնիվ, ցանկանում են ծառայել և դիմում են ներկայացնում, ՀՀ ՊՆ տեղակալն ընդգծեց, որ իրենք պարտադիր պետք է ստանան ՀՀ քաղաքացիություն:

«ՀՀ քաղաքացիություն ստանալուց հետո, տղաները պետք է անցնեն բոլոր փորձաքննությունները, որոնք կատարվում են՝ սկսած զինկոմիսարիատի օղակներից: Այդ պարագայում,  համապատասխան հանձնաժողովը եզրակացություն կկայացնի նրանց զորակոչելու վերաբերյալ»,- ասաց Գաբրիել Բալայանը:

Նրա պնդմամբ՝ ՀՀ քաղաքացիությունը ոչ միայն պայման է, այլև առաջնային նախապայման՝ ՀՀ զինված ուժերում ծառայության անցնելու համար:

«Եթե տվյալ անձը հանդիսանում է ՀՀ քաղաքացի, ձեռք է բերել այլ երկրի քաղաքացիություն, ապա նա ենթակա է զորակոչման ՀՀ զինված ուժերում»,- շեշտեց ՀՀ պաշտպանության փոխնախարարը:

Եզրափակելով խոսքը՝ նա նկատեց, եթե անձը հանդիսացել է այլ երկրի քաղաքացի, դրանից հետո ձեռք է բերել ՀՀ քաղաքացիություն, ապա համապատասխան փաստաթղթերով հիմնավորվելու դեպքում, որ անձն առնվազն 12 ամիս ծառայություն է անցել օտար երկրի ԶՈւ-ում, ազատվում է Հայաստանում ծառայելու պարտավորությունից:
