«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Թավշյա հեղափոխության օրերին սփյուռքահայությունը, իրար հերթ չտալով, հայտարարում էր, թե ուր որ է ընտանիքները վերցնելու են ու հետ գան Հայաստան: Այդ օրերին Հայաստանից արտագաղթողներին համարում էին դավաճաններ՝ ամենայն հավանականությամբ իրենք իրենց այդ որոշման համար հերոսի կոչում տալու համար: Բայց կյանքն առաջ ընթացավ, ու բոլորի համար էլ պարզ դարձավ, որ հայրենասիրության ու ներգաղթի ալիքն ընդամենը կարոտախտի պարզ դրսևորում էր, բայց որևէ մեկը, հատկապես Հայաստանից 10–20 տարի առաջ արտագաղթածները, ովքեր դեռ որոշ թելերով կապված են հայրենիքի հետ, այդպես էլ ճամպրուկները չկապեցին ու չներգաղթեցին Հայաստան: Ավելին, սկսեցին մոռացության տալ իրենց «ցանկություններն» էլ, ներգաղթի քարոզներն էլ, Հայաստանը որպես դրախտավայր համարելն էլ ու սրան–նրան հայրենիք վերադառնալու համար «թասիբի» գցելն էլ: 

Դրան հաջորդեցին տարբեր բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների վոյաժները տարբեր երկրներ, հավանաբար նաև ներգաղթի ալիքը թեժ պահելու համար, բայց կարճ ժամանակ անց պարզ դարձավ, որ դա էլ չի օգնում: Հիմա բոլորը իրենց գործին են անցել, ու տպավորությունն այն է, որ մեր արտերկրի հայրենակիցները շատ արագ հասկացել են, որ Հանրապետության հրապարակում խորոված ճաշակելն այնքան հեշտ չէ, քանի որ դրա համար նախ պետք է Հայաստան վերադառնան, պետք է պատրաստ լինեն բավականին զրկանքների գնով կյանքը գլորել ու փորձել այդ ամենից հետո հայրենիքում երջանիկ ապրել ու մնացածին էլ «երջանկացնել»:

Հայրենիք ներգաղթելու այդ մեծ ցանկությունը, կներեք, բայց այն ժամանակ էլ լուրջ չէր ընկալվում, քանի որ պարզից էլ պարզ էր, որ դա ամենաշատը կարող է բարի կամքի դրսևորում լինել, բայց ոչ երբեք կոնկրետ քայլ: Մյուս կողմից՝ ոչ մեկի համար գաղտնիք չէ, որ արտերկրներում թոշակի անցած մեր հայրենակիցներից շատ շատերն իրոք անկություն ունեն Հայաստան վերադառնալ, քանի որ եթե իրենց թոշակով այս կամ այն երկրում բավականին համեստ կյանքով են ապրում, ապա հայրենիք «ներգաղթելու» դեպքում այդ նույն թոշակի գումարով այստեղ կկարողանան բավականին ճոխ ծերություն անցկացնել: 

Ինչպես ասում են, կյանքը շարունակվում է, ու կարծես թե հայրենիք ներգաղթածների մասով վիճակագրությունը հավանաբար այնքան էլ հուսադրող չէ, այդ պատճառով է լռում: Լռում են նաև այն ֆեյսբուքահայերը, ովքեր անհամբեր սպասում էին, որ դպրոցներն ավարտվեն, որ երեխաների ուսումը կիսատ չմնա հայրենիք ներգաղթելու պատճառով: Հանուն անկեղծության արձանագրենք նաև, որ այսօր էլ շատ շատերը շարունակում են արտագաղթել և դա անում են ոչ թե սուսուփուս, այլ բավականին բացահայտ, քանի որ լավ են հասկանում, որ պայծառ ապագաի քարոզն ընդամենը կինոյի անոնսն էր, իսկ կինոյի մասին դեռ ոչ ոք ոչինչ չգիտի: Ոչ ոք չգիտի նաև, թե իրականում ե՞րբ մարդկանց դուռը կթակի բարեկեցության ու օրենքի գերակայությունը: Եվ գուցե դա է պատճառը, որ իշխանափոխության սկզբում ճամպրուկները կապած ու Երևան շտապող մեր հայրենակիցներից շատերը սկսել են մոռացության տալ իրենց հորդորներն էլ, քարոզներն էլ, ու սահմանափակվում են սոցիալական ցանցերում ամառային հանգիստը պատկերող նկարներ հրապարակելով
