Արմավիրի մարզի՝ կարկուտից առավել տուժած գյուղացիները վաղ առավոտից հավաքվել էին գյուղապետարանների մոտ՝ կարկուտի վնասը ներկայացնելու համար:
Արմավիրի մարզի Մրգաշատ գյուղի բնակիչներն իրենց պահանջները ներկայացնելու համար կարճ ժամանակով փակել էին նաև Արմավիր-Երևան ճանապարհը, այնուհետև հավաքվել էին գյուղի կենտրոնում՝ մարզպետի հետ հանդիպելու համար:
Մարզպետ Գագիկ Միրիջանյանը գյուղացիներին ասաց, որ հանձնաժողով է կազմվել, որը կուսումնասիրի վնասի չափը, փոխհատուցման տարբեր ճանապարհներ կքննարկվեն և կարող են փնջային-խմբային լուծում ստանալ, բանակցում են նաև գործարանների հետ վնասված բերքի մթերման համար:
«Սա ընթացիկ, շարքային կարկուտ չի, տարերային աղետ է եղել, որը, տարիքով մարդիկ էլ կփաստեն, որ 50 տարի սենց բան չէինք տեսել: Մենք կունենանք տվյալները, հարցի լուծման համար ճանապարհներ, կքննարկենք»,-գյուղացիներին ասաց մարզպետը:
«Այսօրվա դրությամբ ավելի խոցելի է, ավելի տուժել է 13-14 համայնք, նույնիսկ Արմավիր քաղաքն է տուժել, նույնիսկ ջրակայաններ կան, որոնք շարքից դուրս են եկել, քաղաքներ կան ջուր չունեն, էլեկտրակայաններ են տուժել, Էջմիածին քաղաքն է տուժել: Պարզապես այս համայնքները տուժել են 90-100 տոկոսով, և այդ պատճառով եկել եմ, որ ցույց տանք՝ իրոք գյուղացու կողքին ենք»,-շեշտեց նա:
