Հայաստանը շարունակում է ձեռնարկել բոլոր հնարավոր միջոցները դեռևս չպարևզված հանգամանքներում Ադրբեջանում հայտնված և գերեվարված ՀՀ քաղաքացի Կարեն Ղազարյանին անվտանգ և որքան հնարավոր է շուտ հայրենիք վերադարձնելու կապակցությամբ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, օգոստոսի 14-ին կայացած ճեպազրույցի ընթացքում այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի մամուլի խոսնակի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար Աննա Նաղդալյանը:

«Կարեն Ղազարյանի գործի առնչությամբ ցանկանում եմ կրկնել, որ հարցը գտնվում է մեր օրակարգում:  Այս ուղղությամբ շարունակվում են ինտենսիվ աշխատանքները: Մենք շարունակում ենք ձեռնարկել բոլոր հնարավոր միջոցները մեր քաղաքացուն անվտանգ և որքան հնարավոր է շուտ հայրենիք վերադարձնելու կապակցությամբ»,- ասաց նա:

Օգոստոսի 2-ին Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի տիկին Աննա Հակոբյանն այցելել էր Ադրբեջանում գերեվարված Կարեն Ղազարյանի ծնողներին: Աննա Հակոբյանը Կարեն Ղազարյանի ծնողներին ասել էր, որ այս պահին ամենակարևորը նրա մասին լուր ունենալն է: Նա հույս էր հայտնել, որ հնարավորինս արագ Կարեն Ղազարյանի մասին լուր կունենան Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կազմակերպության ջանքերի արդյունքում: Գերեվարված Կարեն Ղազարյանի ծնողները հայտնել էին, որ իրենց արդեն այցելել են Կարմիր Խաչի միջազգային կազմակերպության, ինչպես նաև ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի գրասենյակի աշխատակիցները: Աննա Հակոբյանը խոստացել էր կապ հաստատել Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կազմակերպության ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Ղազարյանի ծնողները վարչապետի տիկնոջը փոխանցել էին, որ ԿԽՄԿ-ի ներկայացուցիչները իրենց հետ հանդիպմանը խոստացել են կապ հաստատել Կարենի հետ, սակայն դեռ չեն արել: Վարչապետի տիկինն ընդգծել էր, որ այս պարագայում Կարեն Ղազարյանի հետ կապ հաստատելու միակ տարբերակը միջազգային ճնշումն է՝ ընդգծելով, որ ամեն ինչ ավելի հեշտ կլիներ, եթե Հայաստանի կառավարությունից կախված որևէ բան լիներ: Ղազարյանի ծնողները իրենց մտահոգությունն էին հայտնել նաև այն կապակցությամբ, որ ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցներն իրենց որդուն ներկայացնում են որպես դիվերսանտ, ինչն արդեն հերքվել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության կողմից:
