Փաստաբան Վահե Գրիգորյանը ներկայումս Հայաստանի թերևս ամենահայտնի փաստաբաններից է: Նրա իրավական վերլուծությունները հետաքրքիր են և պահանջված ինչպես իրավաբանների, այնպես էլ ոչ իրավաբանների համար: Ուշագրավ ու պահանջված են նաև Վահե Գրիգորյանի «բացահայտումները» ճանաչված այլ իրավաբանների վերաբերյալ, որոնց օգնությամբ, հիմնականում բաց աղբյուրների վկայակոչմամբ, Վահե Գրիգորյանը սովորություն է դարձրել արատավորել իր մոտեցումները չկիսող գործընկերների բարի համբավը:
Փաստաբան Գրիգորյանի այս վարքագիծը, թերևս իրավունք է տալիս մեզ փորձել հասկանալ՝ արդյո՞ք նա այդքան անբիծ է իր մասնագիտական գործունեության մեջ, թե՞ այնուհանդերձ զերծ չէ մարդկային սխալներից ու մասնագիտական սայթաքումներից: Այս տեղեկությունը կարևոր է հանրության համար՝ գնահատելու մեծն արատավորողի նախկին և հետագա վարքագիծը:
Եվ այսպես մենք որոշեցինք ուսումնասիրել Վահե Գրիգորյանի հանրային համբավի հիմնական ասպարեզին՝ Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանի հրապարակային փաստաթղթերը, և հայտնաբերեցինք մի, թվում է, սենսացիոն փաստաթուղթ: Նույնիսկ անհավատալիորեն սենսացիոն, քանի որ եթե մենք ճիշտ ենք հասկանում այնտեղ սևով սպիտակի վրա գրվածը, ապա Վահե Գրիգորյանը փաստացի տապալել է Ադրբեջանին այդ հեղինակավոր դատական ատյանում պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու թերևս ամենահեռանկարային գործը:
Խոսքը վերաբերում է 2014 թվականի օգոստոսի սկզբին ադրբեջանցիների մոտ հայտված Չինարեցի տարաբախտ հովիվ Կարեն Պետրոսյանի գործին: Բոլորս հիշում ենք այդ ահավոր տեսանյութը, թե ինչպես էին նրան անմարդկային պայմաններում ծնկի իջեցնում ադրբեջանցի բարձրաստիճան սպայի առջև, ինչպես էին ծաղրում սահմանը պատահմամբ հատած այդ խեղճ տղային: Հաջորդ օրն էլ Ադրբեջանը լկտիաբար հայտնեց, որ Կարենը բանտում գտնվելով սրտի կանգից մահացել է: Բոլորիս էլ պարզ էր, որ նա ենթարկվել է անմարդկային խոշտանգման ու պատժվել է մահվամբ:
Եվ ահա համաձայն Եվրոպական դատարանի պաշտոնական կայքում հայտնաբերված փաստաթղթի (հղումը՝ http://hudoc.echr.coe.int/eng?i=001-159511. թվագրված է 2015թ. դեկտեմբերի 10-ով)՝ Կարեն Պետրոսյանի գործը կարճվել ու հանվել է քննվել գործերի ցանկից այն պատճառաբանությամբ, որ դիմումատուն (տուժողի ծնողը) այլևս չի պնդում իր բողոքը: Արտառոց հիմնավորում: Եվ ի՞նչ է պարզվում։ Պարզվում է, որ 2014թ. հոկտեմբերի 29-ից հետո Եվրոպական դատարանը որևէ փաստաթուղթ չի ստացել դիմողի փաստաբանից: Ավելին, 2015թ. հունիսի 30-ին նամակ է հասցեագրել Կարեն Պետրոսյանի և իրականում մեր բոլորի շահերը պաշտպանող փաստաբանին՝ պահանջելով վերջնական գանգատը ներկայացնել մինչև հուլիսի 24-ը, և կրկին որևէ փաստաթուղթ չի ուղարկվել: Փաստորեն, փաստաբանի անգործության պատճառով մենք կորցրել ենք այդքան կարևոր, այդքան ակնառու ու այդքան միանշանակ գործ Եվրոպական դատարանում: Եվ այդ փաստաբանի անունն է, ըստ նշված փաստաթղթի, «պարոն Վ.Գրիգորյան, որը գործունեություն է ծավալում Լոնդոնում»: 
Հաշվի առնելով, որ պարոն Վահե Գրիգորյանն իսկապես տարիներ շարունակ աշխատել է Լոնդոնում, կա մեծ հավանականություն, որ խոսքը վերաբերում է հենց փաստաբան Վահե Գրիգորյանին:
Եվ հավանաբար նա այս կապակցությամբ ասելիք կունենա իր համար «հալվող» երկրպագուներին: Թե ինչու ու ամենակարևորը ում հանձնարարությամբ է նա տապալել Կարեն Պետրոսյանի գործը։
