Անգլիայի Պրեմիեր լիգայի երկրորդ տուրում «Արսենալ»-ը մրցակցի հարկի տակ 3-2 հաշվով պարտվեց «Չելսի»-ին: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ըմ հանդիպումը շատ ակտիվ սկսեցին դաշտի տերերը և արդեն 9-րդ րոպեին առաջ անցան հաշվի մեջ: Գոլի հեղինակ դարձավ Պեդրոն: 

Խփած գնդակից հետո էլ «Չելսի»-ի ֆուտբոլիստները շարունակեցին ակտիվ գործողությունները և 20-րդ րոպեին կարողացան կրկնապատկել առավելությունը: 20-րդ րոպեին գոլի հեղինակ դարձավ Ալվարո Մորատան: Բաց թողած երկրորդ գնդակից հետո «Արսենալ»-ի ֆուտբոլիստները ուշքի եկան և կարողացան առաջին խաղակեսի ընթացքում հետ բերել կորցրածը: 37-րդ րոպեին Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի կիսապաշտպան Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը հեռվից կատարած գեղեցիկ հարվածով խոցեց Կեպա Արիսաբալագայի պաշտպանած դարպասը, իսկ 41-րդ րոպեին Մխիթարյանի փոխանցումից հետո հաշիվը հավասարեցրեց Ալեքս Իվոբին: 

Առաջին խաղակեսում «Արսենալ»-ը ևս մի քանի նպաստավոր պահեր ունեցավ, սակայն գոլ խփել չհաջողվեց: Երկրորդ խաղակեսն անցավ ավելի անհետաքրքիր պայքարում: Գնդակին ավելի շատ տիրում էին «Չելսի»-ի ֆուտբոլիստները, իսկ «Արսենալ»-ը խաղում էր հակագրոհների մարտավարությամբ: Հաջողությանը հասնելուն ավելի մոտ էին «Չելսի»-ի ֆուտբոլիստները, և այդպես էլ եղավ: 81-րդ րոպեին Էդեն Ազարի փոխանցումից հետո աչքի ընկավ Մարկոս Ալոնսոն՝ հաշիվը դարձնելով 3-2: Մնացած ժամանակահատվածում «Արսենալ»-ին ոչինչ չհաջողվեց անել:
