Ի՞նչ գիտենք լույսի արագության մասին. արդյո՞ք չկա ավելի մեծ արագություն

Մենք գիտենք, որ...

 

Լույսի արագությունը բացարձակ մեծություն է և կազմում է 300 000 կմ/վրկ կամ 300 000 000 մ/վրկ: Համարվում է նաև, որ ոչ մի մարմին չի կարող զարգացնել այս արագությունը կամ այս արագությունից մեծ արագություն, բացի ֆոտոններից, այլ քվանտներից և էլեկտրամագնիսական ալիքներից:

Իրականում այնքան էլ այդպես չէ:

Սկզբի համար ասենք , որ վերջին տվյալներով համարվում է, որ լույսի արագությունը վակուումում հիմնարար ֆիզիկական հաստատուն է, որն ըստ սահմանման, ճշգրիտ հավասար է 299 792 458 մ/վրկ կամ 299 792,458 կմ/վրկ։ Համարվում է, որ այս արագությունը ամենամեծ արագությունն է, որը հնարավոր է տիեզերքում: 

Պետք է հաշվի առնել նաև մի կարևոր փաստ. երբ մենք ասում ենք լույսի արագություն, նշանակում է` նկատի ունենք լույսի արագությունը վակուումում: Իսկ այդպիսի միջավայր տիեզերքում համարյա թե չկա, քանի որ պետք է բացակայի ինչպես ցանկացած նյութ, այնպես էլ ցանկացած ճառագայթում, ռադիոալիք: Եթե վակուում չկա, ապա լույսի արագությունը արգելակվում է, եթե անգամ այդ միջավայրը թափանցիկ է: Օրինակի համար ասենք, որ թափանցիկ օդում, մեկ մթնոլորտ ճնշման պայմաններում, լույսի արագությունը դանդաղում է ամբողջ 2 տոկոսով և կազմում է 294 000 կմ/ վրկ, թորած ջրում այդ ցուցանիշը ավելի փոքր է՝ 226 000 կմ/վրկ, օպտիկական մաքուր ապակու մեջ՝ 196 000 կմ/վրկ, ադամանդի մեջ՝ 130 000 կմ/վրկ և այդպես շարունակ:

Նեկայումս որոշ գիտնականներ փորձում են ստանալ այնպիսի թափանցիկ նյութ, որը զրոյի կհավասարեցնի լույսի արագությունը:

Գիտնականների մի խումբ դա փորձել է կատարել Բոզե–Էյնշտեյնի կոնդենսատի միջոցով (այս էկզոտիկ միջավայրը իրենից ներկայացնում է նատրիումի և ռուբիդիումի գոլորշիների խառնուրդ, որտեղ այդ նյութերը զույգերով միացած են միմյանց): Ստացվել է շշմեցուցիչ արդյունք՝ 17 մ/վրկ լույսի արագություն բացարձակ 0 ջերմաստիճանի պայմաններում: Գիտնականների մի այլ խումբ ավելի է առաջ գնացել: Նրանք լազերի ճառագայթը անցկացնելով ռուբիդիումի գոլորշու միջով՝ համարյա կանգնեցրել են լույսը: Պարզ է, որ լրիվ կանգնեցնել լույսի արագությունը անհնար է, որովհետև ֆոտոնները չունեն հանգստի մասսա, այսինքն՝ նրանք կարող են գոյություն ունենալ միայն շարժման ժամանակ:

Այս ամենը ճիշտ է քվանտային մեխանիկայի տեսակետից: Լույսի կամ էլեկտրամագնիսական դաշտի կրիչները՝ ֆոտոնները կամ ալիքները, կարող են «խրվել» որոշակի միջավայրում՝ այդ միջավայրին փոխանցելով իրենց էներգիան, բայց պայմանները որոշակիորեն փոխելուց հետո նրանք նորից կարող են ծնվել՝ կարծես թե ոչնչից:

Բացի այն, որ լույսի արագությունը հաճախ ավելի քիչ է լինում, ներկայում գիտնականները համոզված են, որ կա նաև լույսի արագությունից ավելի մեծ արագություն: Իհարկե, այդ արագությունը լույսը չի զարգացնում, այլ զարգացնում են, այսպես կոչված, հիպոթետիկ տախիոնները (հիպոթետիկ, քանի որ այդպիսի մասնիկներ դեռևս չեն հայտնաբերել): Իհարկե, այս հիպոթեզը հակասում է Էյնշտեյնի հարաբերականության տեսությանը, բայց միևնույն ժամանակ նաև չի հակասում, և հավանական է , որ ժամանակի ընթացքում կընդունվի: Չմոռանանք, որ Էյնշտեյնն էլ իր տեսությամբ հակասեց Նյուտոնի մեխանիկայի օրենքներին, բայց ասել, որ Նյուտոնի օրենքները չեն գործում՝ սխալ է:
