ԱՄՆ-ում վերջին հրաժեշտն են տվել Ջոն Մաքքեյնին․ Թրամփը մեկնել է գոլֆ խաղալու
INTERNATIONAL NEWSՎաշինգտոնի ազգային տաճարում տեղի է ունեցել Ամերիկայի ռազմական հերոս, սենատոր Ջոն Մաքքեյնի հրաժեշտի արարողությունը։ Մաքքեյնը մահացել էր օգոստոսի 25-ին օնկոլոգիական հիվանդության հետեւանքով, փոխանցում է «Գոլոս Ամերիկի»-ն։
Հրաժեշտի արարողությանը, բացի սենատորի այրի՝ Սինդի Մաքքեյնից, երեխաներից ու 106-ամյա մորից, ներկա են եղել շատ հյուրեր՝ քաղաքական գործիչներ, դիվանագետներ, մշակութային գործիչներ ու արվեստագետներ, եկեղեցականներ։
Արարողությանը ելույթ են ունեցել նախկին նախագահներ Ջորջ Բուշ կրտսերը եւ Բարաք Օբաման։
Հրաժեշտի արարողությանը ներկա էին Բիլ Քլինթոնը, Բարաք Օբաման, Ջորջ Բուշ կրտսերը, Ջոն Քերին, Մադլեն Օլբրայթը, Հենրի Քիսինջերը եւ բազմաթիվ այլ անվանի ամերիկացի քաղաքական գործիչներ: Արարողությանը ներկա էր նաեւ սենատորի 106-ամյա մայրը՝ Ռոբերտա Մաքքեյնը:
Գործող նախագահը սգո արարողությանը չի մասնակցել Մաքքեյնի ու նրա ընտանիքի ցանկությամբ, սակայն հրաժեշտի արարողությանը ներկա է եղել Թրամփի դուստրը՝ Իվանկա Թրամփը ամուսնու՝ Ջարեդ Քուշների հետ։ Ինքը՝ Դոնալդ Թրամփը ցուցադրաբար մեկնել է գոլֆ խաղալու։
Դոնալդ Թրամփի ու իր կուսակից սենատոր Ջոն Մաքքեյնի թշնամությունը սկսվել է դեռ մինչեւ Թրամփի 2016թ․ նախընտրական քարոզարշավը, երբ Թրամփը Մաքքեյնի նկատմամբ վիրավորական մեկնաբանություն էր արել։
«Նա պատերազմի հերոս չէ։ Նա պատերազմի հերոս է, որովհետեւ գերի է ընկել։ Ինձ դուր են գալիս մարդիկ, որոնք գերության չեն հանձնվում»,-ասել էր Թրամփը։
Սենատոր Ջոն Մաքքեյնին կհուղարկավորեն սեպտեմբերի 2-ին Անապոլիսի ռազմածովային ակադեմիայի տարածքում, այդ ակադեմիայի շրջանավարտ է եղել նաեւ ինքը՝ Մաքքեյնը։ Հուղարկավորությանը կմասնակցեն միայն սենատորի հարազատ ու մտերիմ մարդիկ։
