 Նոյեմբերի 5-ից երկօրյա պաշտոնական այցով Թբիլիսիում գտնվող Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւը Վրաստանի նախագահ Գեորգի Մարգվելաշվիլիի հետ հանդիպումից հետո կազմակերպված համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսում հայտարարել է, որ Բաքուն շատ է ցանկանում միջազգային բեռնափոխադրումների ոլորտում Վրաստանի հետ հանդես գալ միասնական դիրքից:

Վկայակոչելով APA-ն, Ալիեւն ու Մարգվելաշվիլին քննարկել են էներգետիկական եւ տրանսպորտային հարցեր:

Ադրբեջանի առաջնորդը կարեւորել է Վրաստանի եւ Թուրքիայի տարածքներով ադրբեջանական գազը Եվրոպա հասցնելու նվազագույնը 45 մլրդ դոլար արժողությամբ Հարավային հոսք գազային միջանցքի (Անդրանատոլիական եւ Անդրադրիատիկ գազատարներ - TANAP եւ TAP) կառուցումը, որոնք, նրա խոսքով «այսօր մեծ տնտեսական եւ քաղաքական նշանակություն ունեն եւ Վրաստանի, եւ Ադրբեջանի, եւ Եվրոպայի համար»:

Ալիեւի խոսքով` Ադրբեջանի հաստատված գազային պաշարները կազմում են 2,6 տրիլիոն խորանարդ մետր, որը «նվազագույնը 100 տարի կհերիքի Ադրբեջանի, հարեւան եւ եվրոպական երկրների համար»:

Ալիեւն ընդգծել է, թե Վրաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի համատեղ գործունեությունը, երկու երկրների միասնական դիրքն ապագայում կցուցադրի այդ միջանցքի մեծ հուսալիությունը:

«Ես հայտնեցի, որ Ադրբեջանում վերջերս ստեղծվել է տարանցիկ բեռների հետ կապված Համակարգման խորհուրդ: Մենք շատ ենք ուզում, որ բեռնափոխադրումնների ոլորտում Վրաստանը եւ Ադրբեջանը հանդես գան միասնական դիրքից: Մենք կարող ենք Վրաստանի վրայով անցնող բեռները զգալիորեն մեծացնելու համար միասնական տարիֆային քաղաքականություն մշակել», -նշել է Ալիեւը:
