Թեհրանը կոշտ պատասխան միջոցներ կձեռնարկի միջուկային ոլորտի իրանցի գիտնականների դեմ նոր հարձակումների պարագայում: РИА Новости-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին հայտարարել է երկրի փոխնախագահ և Իրանի Ատոմային էներգիայի կազմակերպության ղեկավար Ալի Աքբար Սալեհին:

2012 թվականի հունվարին Պոլիտեխնիկական համալսարանի դասախոս Մուստաֆա Ահմադի Ռոշանը մահացել է Թեհրանում ականապատ մեքենայի պայթյունի հետևանքով: Ոստիկանության տվյալներով՝ մագնիսական ռումբը նրա մեքենային ամրացրել է անհայտ մոտոցիկլավարը: Նշվում էր, որ 32-ամյա Ռոշանը զբաղեցրել է Նաթանզում միջուկային կառույցի կոմերցիոն հարցերով փոխտնօրենի պաշտոնը:
2010 թվականին իր տան մոտ զոհվել է Թեհրանի համալսարանի պրոֆեսոր Մասուդ Ալի Մոհամադին:
Նույն թվականի նոյեմբերին Թեհրանում տեղի ունեցած պայթյունի հետևանքով զոհվել է միջուկային ոլորտի գիտնական Մաջիդ Շահրիանին:
Իրանի իշխանություններն այդ հարձակումները կազմակերպելու մեջ մեղադրում են Իսրայելին և ԱՄՆ-ին՝ հայտարարելով, որ նրանց նպատակն է իրանական միջուիկային ծրագրի զարգացմանը խոչընդոտելը:
