«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Լրատվամիջոցներին հաճախ են մեղադրում «մեր տեղեկություններով» հրապարակումների համար: Բայց միևնույն ժամանակ նույն «հղումով» ու տրամաբանությամբ հայտարարություններ են անում նաև պաշտոնյաները: Ի մասնավորի, քարոզարշավի առաջին իսկ օրը վարչապետի հայտարարություններից գոնե մեկը հենց այդ ոճի մեջ էր: Սակայն խնդիրն այն չէր, որ վարչապետը կարող էր տեղեկություններ ստանալ այս կամ այն գործչի՝ այս կամ այն հանդիպումից. դրա համար ինքը հազար ու մի աղբյուր ունի՝ սկսած հենց ՀՀԿ–ականների մեջ իր աղբյուրներից մինչև պատկան կառույցները. որ ոչինչ էլ չլինի, ԱԱԾ–ն կա ու կա: Խնդիրը շատ ավելի անհասցեության մեջ է, առավել ևս, երբ խոսում ես հոգնակիով՝ կան ուժեր, որ բանակցում են ՀՀԿ–ի հետ: Սա ուղղակի մանիպուլ յատիվ քայլ է, ընդ որում՝ կոպիտ, որովհետև մեղքը բարդում ես միանգամից բոլոր մնացյալ քաղաքական ուժերի վրա: Բոլոր ընտրողները չեն, որ կարող են հաշվարկներ անել, թե իրականում ո՞ւմ էին ուղղված վարչապետի խոսքերը՝ «Ելք» դաշինքի իր գործընկեր ուժերի ձևավորած «Լույսի՞ն», Դաշնակցությա՞նը, ԲՀԿ-ի՞ն, թե՞ մեկ այլ ուժի: Անորոշ ձևակերպումները հավասարապես կարող էին վերաբերել, սկզբունքորեն՝ մեկ–երկու բացառությամբ, բոլոր մասնակից ուժերին էլ: Հաշվարկը հենց դրա վրա է, որ հայտարարության ստվերն ընկնի բոլորի վրա ու ստիպի հատկապես իր նախկին գործընկերներին «հորս արև»–ի հանգվույն երդվել, թե խոսքը իրենց չի վերաբերում ու իրենք անվերապահ վարչապետի «կողքն» են:
Հասկանալի է, որ ընտրությունների ժամանակ ու ընդհանրապես քաղաքականության մեջ մանիպուլ յատիվ քայլերը ոչ միայն չեն բացառվում, այլև բնական են: Սակայն ուշադրություն պետք է դարձնել, թե ում կողմից է դա արվում:
Տարիներ շարունակ խոսվել է այն մասին, որ իշխանությունների առաջին խնդիրը պետք է լինի բոլոր մասնակիցների համար հավասար պայմանների ստեղծումը, ազնիվ ու արդար ընտրությունների կազմակերպումը, արհեստական լարվածության մեղմացումը: Այս պարագայում նման հայտարարություն անում է ոչ թե սոսկ որևէ քաղաքական ուժի ղեկավարը կամ ներկայացուցիչը, այլ երկրի փաստացի ղեկավարը: Ցավոք, վերջինիս խոսքը ոչ այնքան սեփական թեկնածուի քարոզ էր, որքան հակափիառ մնացյալ ուժերի նկատմամբ, ընդ որում՝ դարձյալ անհասցե ու դարձյալ սևուսպիտակի հստակ շեշտադրումներով:
