Հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ այս հարցը վերջին օրերի ընթացքում շատ է արծարծվում, ցանկանում եմ միանշանակ հայտարարել, որ մենք պլանավորում ենք Սիրիայի Արաբական Հանրապետություն գործուղել պաշտպանության նախարարության մասնագետների խումբ՝ կազմված բժիշկներից, հումանիտար ականազերծման մասնագետներից և նրանց անվտանգությունն ապահովող անձնակազմից։ 

Այս մասին Mediamax.am–ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանը։

«Բնականաբար, պաշտպանության նախարարության մասնագետները հիմնականում զինվորականներ են, սակայն դա ոչ մի կերպ չի կարելի ներկայացնել որպես մարտական զորախումբ, քանի որ հայ մասնագետների խումբը Սիրիայում մարտական խնդիրներ չի կատարելու, այլ զբաղվելու է բացառապես հումանիտար խնդիրներով: Հետևաբար, այն ունենալու է ոչ թե զորախմբի, այլ մասնագետների խմբի կարգավիճակ»,– ընդգծել է Տոնոյանը։

Անդրադառնալով հարցին՝ թե որոնք են գործընթացի իրավական հիմքերը, նախարարը նշել է, որ որպես այդպիսին հանդես են գալիս ՀՀ Սահմանադրությունը, ՄԱԿ-ի և դրա մարմինների կողմից Մերձավոր Արևելքին վերաբերվող բազմաթիվ բանաձևերը ու գործողությունների ծրագրերը, ինչպես նաև ՀՀ և Սիրիայի միջև գոյություն ունեցող փոխգործակցության իրավապայմանագրային պարտավորությունները։

«Սիրիայի Արաբական Հանրապետության լիազորված գերատեսչությունը մեզ ներկայացրել է համապատասխան խնդրանք, որին մենք արձագանքել ենք։ Մենք պլանավորում ենք Սիրիա գործուղել մինչև 100 մասնագետների՝ այս տարվա ընթացքում: Ինչ վերաբերվում է գործուղման ժամկետին, ապա դա հընթացս որոշելու խնդիր է և հստակ ժամկետ սահմանված չէ»,– ասել է նախարար Տոնոյանը։
