Այս ընտրությունները միայն ավագանու ընտրություններ չեն, հենց այդ պատճառով շատ դեպքերում ծրագրային կետերի շուրջ բանավեճ տեղի չի ունենում. Էդգար Վարդանյան

Հայաստանում վերջապես տեղի են ունենալու իրական ընտրություններ, որովհետև թեև մրցակիցները դիմում են կոշտ քննադատության, բայց իշխանությունները որևէ ճնշում չեն բանեցնում, ադմինիստրատիվ ռեսուրս, ընտրակաշառք չեն կիրառում, այլ ստեղծել են հավասար պայմաններ. այս մասին  Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց ՌԱՀԿ փորձագետ Էդգար Վարդանյանը` անդրադառնալով Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններին:

«Տարբեր օբյեկտիվ և սուբյեկտիվ պատճառներով այս ընտրությունները միայն ավագանու ընտրություններ չեն, հենց այդ պատճառով շատ դեպքերում ծրագրային կետերի շուրջ բանավեճ տեղի չի ունենում և ավագանու ընտրությունների բովանդակությունից դուրս գտնվող քաղաքական խնդիրներ են բարձրացվում և դա հասկանալի է»,-ասաց նա և նշեց, որ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին հաջորդող ընտրությունները նոր կլինեն գաղափարական պայքարի թատերաբեմ:

 
Դեռևս քաղաքական իրավիճակի խնդիրներն այնպես են, որ այդ տեսակի բանավեճերը հետին պլան են մղվում, բայց սա չի նշանակում, որ այս ընտրությունները այն ընտրություններն են, ինչ նախկինում էին»,-ասաց նա:

Էդգար Վարդանյանն ասաց, որ «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքը ֆավորիտ է իր իրական վարկանիշի հաշվին, քանի որ իր մեջ է ներառել հեղափոխական հանրության մեծամասնության ներկայացուցիչներին: Ըստ նրա՝ ԲՀԿ-ի մեղադրանքներն ուղղված «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքին, չեն հիմնավորվում և եթե նախարարությունների որոշ աշխատակիցներ վիրավորական բաներ են ասում, դա չի նշանակում, որ պետությունը վիրավորում է:

Նա նկատեց, որ պետությունը ուշադիր և խիստ կերպով հետևում  է, որ ընտրակաշառքներ չլինեն, մեկ դեպքի առնչությամբ քրեական գործ է հարուցվել, բայց տեղեկություն չկա, որ համատարած բաժանվում է  ընտրակաշառք:

«Այս ընտրություններն առանձնահատուկ են նրանով, որ թավշյա հեղափոխությունից հետո առաջին ընտրություններն են և հեղափոխական հանրությունը խնդիր ունի նաև ցույց տալու, որ ինքն ունի շատ լայն աջակցություն, որ հանրության բացարձակ մեծամասնությունը աջակցում է իրենց, և դա, արդեն իսկ, շատ ավելի մեծ նշանակություն է տալիս այս ընտրություններին և այլ մակարդակի է բերում: Այսինքն՝ առավել քաղաքական բնույթի ընտրություններ են դարձնում»,-ասաց նա:

Քաղաքագետը նկատեց, որ այս ընտրությունների մասնակցում են նաև շատ քաղաքական ուժեր, որոնք նախկին իշխանությունների պարագայում ունեցել են լուրջ դերակատարություն: «Իրենք այսօր խնդիր ունեն մաքրել իրենց՝ հին ռեժիմի հետ կապված բոլոր բացասական երանգներից,  որպեսզի կարողանան նորովի հանդես գալ և, հետևաբար, պետք է թիրախավորեն համար մեկ մրցակցին, հիմնական ֆավորիտին և նրանց փորձել մեղադրել այնպիսի բաների համար, որ միշտ իրենց են մեղադրել»,-ասաց նա և նշեց, որ բոլորը հասկանում են՝ եթե հակադրվես հեղափոխությանը ամեն ինչ կորցնելու են:

Ըստ նրա, եթե «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքը բանավեճի գնա միայն ԲՀԿ-ի հետ, դա կնշանակի, որ կարևորություն են տալիս մեկ քաղաքական ուժի և բարձրացնում են տվյալ քաղաքական ուժի ռեյտինգը:
