Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անկախության 27-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանին շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Շվեյցարական կոնֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Ալեն Բերսեն: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ուղերձում ասվում է.

«Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Ազգային տոնի, ինչպես նաեւ Անկախության օրվա կապակցությամբ Դաշնային խորհրդի եւ անձամբ իմ անունից սիրով Ձերդ Գերազանցությանը եւ հայ ժողովրդին եմ ուղղում իմ ջերմ շնորհավորանքները: Թույլ տվեք ձեր երկրին հղել երջանկության եւ բարգավաճման իմ ամենաանկեղծ մաղթանքները, ինչպես նաեւ Ձեզ ցանկալ առողջություն եւ հաջողություն:

Ուզում եմ վերահաստատել այն կարեւորությունը, որ իմ երկիրը հատկացնում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հետ վստահության եւ բարեկամության կապերի զարգացմանը: Առիթից օգտվելով՝ շնորհակալություն եմ հայտնում նաեւ Երեւանում Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի 17-րդ գագաթնաժողովին հրավերի համար, որին ես պատիվ կհամարեմ հաճույքով մասնակցել: Շվեյցարիան մեծ կարեւորություն է տալիս Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպությանը, որի անդամները հանձնառություն են ստանձնել առաջ մղելու ժողովրդավարությունը, խաղաղությունը, մարդու իրավունքները եւ մշակութային ու լեզվական բազմազանությունը: Գագաթնաժողովը թույլ կտա մեր երկրներին ապագայում ավելի սերտացնել իրենց առանձնաշնորհյալ կապերը»:
