«168 ժամ» թերթը գրում է. «Ո՞վ է Հայաստանի իշխանության ամենաստվերային, բայց ամենահուսալի դաշնակիցը: Միանգամից ասենք, Իլհամ Ալիեւը՝ իր նավթադոլարներով ու խավիարով: Այս պնդումը, առաջին հայացքից, իհարկե, տարօրինակ ու անհեթեթ է հնչում, եւ հասկանալի է, որ տվյալ դեպքում խոսքն ուղղակի, պայմանավորված դաշնակցության մասին չէ: Պարզապես Ալիեւի ռեժիմը տարիներ շարունակ դարձել է Հայաստանի իշխանության, մասնավորապես՝ դիվանագիտության կատարյալ ապաշնորհության փրկօղակը: Հայաստանը հերթական ապտակն է ստանում ԵԽ ԽՎ-ում, փույթ չէ, կարելի է գալ Երեւան կամ, նույնիսկ առանց Երեւան գալու, լալահառաչ տեքստեր ասել այն մասին, թե ինչպես են եվրոպատգամավորները ծախվում ադրբեջանական խավիարային դիվանագիտությանը:
Ընդ որում, որքան շատ է այդ տեքստերում պաթետիզմը, այնքան արդարացումն ավելի արժանահավատ է թվում: Ու որեւէ մեկի մտքով չի անցնում հարցնել՝ այդ դեպքում, եթե եվրոպական հարթակներում ամեն ինչ հիմնված է միայն փողի վրա (ինչը, իհարկե, այդպես չէ), ինչո՞ւ Հայաստանը հատուկ բյուջե չի ստեղծում, ինչո՞ւ օլիգարխներին չի հանձնարարում ամսական ոչ թե՝ 10.000 եվրո (ինչպես պնդում են ԵԽԽՎ-ում հայկական պատվիրակության անդամները՝ հենց այդքան է Ալիեւը վճարում ադրբեջանամետ եվրոպացիներին), այլ՝ 15 կամ 20 հազար եվրո վճարել ծախու եվրոպատգամավորներին: Միայն թե չասեք, թե փող չկա, թե Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի ֆինանսական կարողություններն անհամեմատելի են:
Այդ դեպքում իսկույն հօդս կցնդեն այն պնդումները, թե մեր բանակը մի քանի անգամ հզոր է ադրբեջանականից, ինչը, բարեբախտաբար, համապատասխանում է իրականությանը: Այսպիսով, եթե ռազմական ոլորտում ունենալով նույն ֆինանսական անհամեմատելի հնարավորությունները, այդուհանդերձ հաջողվում է բավարար արդյունքների հասնել, ինչո՞ւ նույնը հնարավոր չէ դիվանագիտության մեջ:
Պատասխանը շատ պարզ է: Որովհետեւ Հայաստանը դիվանագիտություն պարզապես չունի: Ո՛չ դասական, ո՛չ էլ խորհրդարանական: Հայաստանն ունի աշխարհի տարբեր ամբիոններից Ռուսաստանի շահերին չհակադրվող, Հայաստանի շահերը պաշտպանել փորձող դիվանագիտություն (իսկ այն դեպքերում, երբ այդ շահերը չեն համընկնում, բնականաբար, պաշտպանվում են այն երկրի շահերը, որտեղ Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը դիպլոմային աշխատանք է պաշտպանել) եւ եվրոպական շրջագայությունները խորհրդարանական դիվանագիտության հետ շփոթած պատգամավորներ, որոնց թվում է, թե իրենց գործը միայն նիստերում նվնվան ելույթներ ունենալն է:
Իսկ քանի դեռ այդպես է, նրանց փրկության են գալու Ալիեւի նավթադոլարներն ու խավիարը: Այնպես որ, Հերմինե Նաղդալյանի ջերմ ողջույններն Իլհամ Ալիեւին»:
