Աբովյան քաղաքում կայանալիք ընտրությունը գնալով բավական հետաքրքիր զարգացում է ստանում, նկատենք, որ այն յուրահատուկ էր դեռ ի սկզբանե` թեկնածուների առաջադրվելու առաջին իսկ օրվանից:

Չնայած նրան, որ ընտրարշավը դեռ երեկ մեկնարկեց, մինչ այդ սակայն որոշ «առյուծասիրտներ» արդեն իսկ անցել էին գործի` ընտրելով պայքարի ամենաանարդար եւ չափից դուրս պրիմիտիվ տարբերակները, որոնցից ամենաուրախը թերեւս թեկնածուներից մեկի` Արթուր Հարությունյանի` Պալաչի, «կրկնօրինակի» պատրաստումն էր:
Մանկապարտեզային խաղեր հիշեցնող այս քայլն, ինչ խոսք, միայն ու միայն ժպիտ է առաջացնում եւ փաստում այն մասին, որ տարիներ շարունակ սեփական իլյուզիաներով առաջնորդվող առյուծներն եւ կապույտ երկնքում ճախրող արծիվներն այլեւս կախվում են փրփուրներից՝ պայքարի միջոց դարձնելով «կլոունադան»:

Ինչեւէ, ուշիուշով հետեւելով ընթացող զարգացումներին, «ՓԱՍՏ»-ը զրուցեց «Քրիստոնեա-ժողովրդական վերածնունդ» կուսակցության նախագահ Սոս Գիմիշյանի հետ, ով իր վերաբերմունքը հայտնեց ԲՀԿ նախկին նախագահի կողմից հովանավորվող թեկնածուի վերաբերյալ.

«Եթե Ծառուկյանը թեկնածու է առաջադրում, դա վկայում է մեկ բանի մասին, որ ինքը շարունակում է քաղաքականությամբ զբաղվել: Սակայն մենք հիշում ենք, որ վերջերս նա հայտարարեց, որ ինքը հեռանում է քաղաքական դաշտից: Փաստորեն ստացվում է, որ իշխանություններն իրենց նպատակին չհասան, կամ էլ, ով գիտե, միգուցե այդ ամենը խաբեություն էր եւ պայմանավորվածություն էր երկու կողմերի միջեւ, մենք հստակ բան չենք կարող ասել, քանի որ քաղաքականությունը դարձել է լրիվ անբարոյականություն»:
Հարցին` եթե պարզվի, որ որեւէ պայմանավորվածություն չկա կողմերի միջեւ, արդյո՞ք ԲՀԿ նախկին առաջնորդի այս քայլը կարելի է բացահայտ արհամարհանք համարել իշխանությունների նկատմամբ, Սոս Գիմիշյանը պատասխանեց. «Միգուցե նրանք պայմանավորվել են, որ մեկը մյուսին պետք է արհամարհի եւ հասարակությունը դա պետք է տեսնի: Այս պարագայում որեւէ հստակ բան չենք կարող ասել, պնդել կարող ենք մեկ բան` պարոն Ծառուկյանը շարունակում է մնալ քաղաքականության մեջ»:
