SOCIETYԽորը ցավով տեղեկացա ֆրանսահայ անվանի շանսոնյե Շառլ Ազնավուրի մահվան մասին: Սա անդառնալի կորուստ էր ոչ միայն համայն աշխարհի հայերի, այլ նաև երկրագնդի տարբեր անկյուններում բնակվող նրա արվեստի միլիոնավոր երկրպագուների համար: Շառլ Ազնավուրը ոչ միայն նշանավոր երգիչ, երգահան, գրող, կինոդերասան ու հասարակական գործիչ էր, այլ նաև միջազգային կազմակերպություններում մեծ պատասխանատվությամբ ու պատվով ներկայացնում էր մեր հայրենիքը: Իր գործունեության ընթացքում նա արժանացել է Հայաստանի և Ֆրանսիայի բարձրագույն պետական պարգևներին, սակայն նա արդեն իսկ արժանացել էր ամենամեծ պարգևին ու մրցանակին: Դա ժողովրդի անվերապահ սերն ու անսահման հարգանքն էր: Շառլ Ազնավուրը առաջին հերթին մեծ հայ էր, մեծ հայրենասեր, ով իր ամենօրյա աշխատանքով ամենատարբեր ոլորտներում իր նպաստն է բերել Հայաստանի զարգացման ու աշխարհին էլ ավելի ներկայանալի դարձնելու համար: Միայն Շառլ Ազնավուր անուն-ազգանունը մեր երկիրը ներկայանալի էր դարձնում աշխարհի բոլոր անկյուններում: Խորապես ցավակցում եմ Մեծ Հայի՝ Շառլ Ազնավուրի ընտանիքի անդամներին, հարազատներին ու երկրպագուներին այս անդառնալի կորստի կապակցությամբ: Նրա արվեստի լույսը հարատև վառ է պահելու մեր հայրենակցի՝ Շառլ Ազնավուրի հիշատակը
