Կանադայի վարչապետը բարձր է գնահատում ՖՄԿ նախկին գլխավոր քարտուղարի դերը կանանց իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտում
SOCIETYԿանադայի վարչապետ Ջասթին Թրյուդոն կարևորում է ՖՄԿ արդեն նախկին քարտուղարի՝ Միկայել Ժանի աշխատանքը կանանց իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտում: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ այս մասին Թրյուդոն նշեց Երևանում, Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության 17-րդ գագաթնաժողովի ավարտից հետո հրավիրված ասուլիսում:
«Կանադան 18 մլրդ դոլարի ներդրում է կատարել Կոնգոյում սեռով պայմանավորված բռնությունների կանխարգելման համար: Դա անհանդուրժելի հանցագործություն է: Այս ամենի ֆոնին ես պարտավոր եմ ընդգծել Միկայել Ժանի հոյակապ աշխատանքը, ով կանանց մեծ պաշտպանն է ֆրանկոֆոն տարածքում»,- շեշտեց նա՝ հավելելով, որ Միկայել Ժանը կանանց իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը դարձրել էր ՖՄԿ-ի առաջնահերթություններից մեկը:
Թրյուդոն համոզված է, որ Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության անդամ երկրները պետք է կարողանան կենտրոնացնել իրենց ուժերը՝ ավելի լավ աշխարհի տեսլականի մղումով: «Դրան տանող ճանապարհն, առաջին հերթին, կրթական այնպիսի համակարգի ներդրումն է, որն ավելի լավ տնտեսության ունենալու դուռ կբացի»,- ասաց նա:
Կանադայի վարչապետը շնորհավորեց ՖՄԿ նորընտիր գլխավոր քարտուղար Լուիզ Մուշիկիվաբոյին՝ պաշտոնի ստանձնման կապակցությամբ: «Կանադան կհամագործակցի նրա հետ՝ ավելի զարգացնելու համար կազմակերպությունը: Նոր քարտուղարն ընտրվեց կոնսենսուսի պայմաններում, երկրների համաձայնությամբ»,- նշեց Ջասթին Թրյուդոն:
Երևանում ավարտված Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության 17-րդ գագաթնաժողովին մասնակցելու համար Հայաստան էին ժամանել կազմակերպության անդամ 84 երկրի պատվիրակություն և 38 երկրի ղեկավար: Հոկտեմբերի 11-ի նիստի ընթացքում ՖՄԿ գագաթնաժողովի նախագահության լիազորությունները Մադագասկարից փոխանցվեցին Հայաստանին: Հիմնվեց համաժողովի բյուրոն, մասնակիցները հաստատեցին օրակարգի նախագիծն ու ծրագրավորեցին աշխատանքները: Հոկտեմբերի 12-ին Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության գլխավոր քարտուղար ընտրվեց Ռուանդայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Լուիզ Մուշիկիվաբոն: Գագաթնաժողովի թեման էր «Ապրել միասին՝ հարգելով համերաշխությունը, մարդասիրական արժեքներն ու բազմազանությունը՝ իբրև խաղաղության եւ բարօրության հիմք ֆրանկոֆոն տարածաշրջանում»: Համընդհանուր արժեքների վրա խարսխված այս թեման հնարավորություն կտա արտացոլել Ֆրանկոֆոնիայում խաղաղությունը, համերաշխությունը և զարգացումը։ Որպես Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի 17-րդ գագաթնաժողովի լոգո ընտրվել էր նուռը՝ ի նշան ֆրանկոֆոն ողջ տարածքի խաղաղության և բարգավաճման։
