INTERNATIONAL NEWSԿանադան շարունակելու է միջազգային հարթակներում ջատագովել Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչումն ու ընդունումը: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ այս մասին հոկտեմբերի 13-ին ՀՀ վարչապետի ու Կանադայի վարչապետի համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսի ընթացքում ասաց Կանադայի վարչապետ Ջասթին Թրյուդոն:
«Այստեղ Երևանում ես հնարավորություն ունեցա այցելելու ցեղասպանության հուշահամալիր: Շատ զգացմունքային պահ էր դա: Աշխարհը պետք է նման ոճրագործություններին ասի՝ այլևս երբեք: Կանադան վաղուց ընդունել ու ճանաչել է ցեղասպանությունը: Կանադան կարևոր դեր է խաղում աշխարհով մեկ, մանավանդ վերջերս կոնկրետ քայլեր ձեռնարկելու ուղղությամբ՝ նմանօրինակ ոճիրների ազդեցությունը նվազեցնելու համար: Մենք շարունակելու ենք ջատագովել Հայոց ցեղասպանության ընդունումն ու ճանաչումը, որովհետև ացնյալի ճանաչումն առաջին քայլն է խաղաղություն ու երկխոսություն ստեղծելու ճանապարհին»,- ասաց Կանադայի վարչապետը:
ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի խոսքով՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության ընդունումը երկու կարևոր խնդիր է լուծում:
«Շատ կարևոր է արձանագրել, որ ցեղասպանության ընդունումը ունի երկու կարևոր իմաստ: Նախ և առաջ այն իր նպաստն է բերում դրանց դեմ գլոբալ պայքարին: Քանի որ քսանմեկերորդ դարում դրանք նույնպես վերացված չեն: Հայաստանի համար սա նաև անվտանգության խնդիր է, որովհետև, ըստ էության, մենք այսօր ունենք սպառնալիքի շատ կոնկրետ վտանգ, որովհետև Թուրքիայի հետ սահմանը փակ է, ու մենք շրջափակման մեջ ենք գտնվում: Մեր քննարկումների ժամանակ խոսեցինք նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հարցի մասին: Շատ կարևոր է արձանագրել, թե ինչն է պատճառը, որ ծագել է Ղարաբաղի հարցը, որովհետև երբեմն տպավորություն է ստեղծվում, որ սա տարածքային վեճի խդնիր է: Դա այդպես չէ, Արցախում ապրող հայերի առաջ կանգնել է նոր ցեղասպանության սպառնալիքը ու մարդիկ ուղղակի ցանկացել ու ցանկանում են պաշտպանել ապրելու իրենց իրավունքը: Ղարաբաղի կոնֆլիկտը ծագել է այն պայմաններում, երբ մարդու ապրելու իրավունքը կանգնել է կոնկրետ սպառնալիքի առաջ, որովհետև աչքի առաջ ունեցել են 1915թ.-ի ցեղասպանությունը»,- ասաց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:
