ՀՀ նախագահը Ժնևում մասնակցել է Համաշխարհային ներդրումային համաժողովի բացմանը

Աշխատանքային այցով Շվեյցարիայի Համադաշնությունում գտնվող Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը Ժնևում՝ ՄԱԿ-ի կենտրոնակայանում մասնակցել է այդ կազմակերպության Առևտրի և զարգացման կոնֆերանսի (UNCTAD)` երկամյա պարբերականությամբ կազմակերպվող Համաշխարհային ներդրումային համաժողովի (World Investment Forum 2018) բացման հանդիսավոր արարողությանը։ Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հոբելյանական` տասներորդ համաժողովն այս տարի անցկացվում է «Ներդրումներ՝ հանուն կայուն զարգացման» խորագրով:

Մինչ համաժողովի բացումը, Հանրապետության նախագահը կարճատև զրույց է ունեցել Շվեյցարիայի Համադաշնության նախագահ Ալան Բերսեի հետ, որին հանդիպել էր նաև վերջերս Երևանում՝ Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության 17-րդ գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակում։

Համաժողովի բացմանը ներկա են եղել Շվեյցարիայի, ինչպես նաև ՄԱԿ-ի Առևտրի և զարգացման կոնֆերանսի անդամ պետությունների, համաշխարհային գործարար համայնքի, ներդրողների ու միջազգային կազմակերպությունների բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ: Համաժողովի մասնակիցներին ողջունել է Շվեյցարիայի Համադաշնության նախագահ Ալան Բերսեն։

Համաշխարհային ներդրումային համաժողովը ներդրումների և կայուն զարգացման ոլորտին նվիրված միջազգային առաջատար և ներկայացուցչական համաժողովներից է, բարձր մակարդակի հարթակ, որտեղ քննարկվում են գլոբալիզացիայի և ինդուստրալիզացիայի նոր դարաշրջանում ներդրումային ոլորտում առկա համաշխարհային մարտահրավերները և դրանք հաղթահարելու հնարավորությունները:

Համաժողովն այս տարի իր հարկի տակ է հավաքել 160 երկրների ավելի քան 4000 ներկայացուցիչների, այդ թվում՝ տարբեր երկրների բազմաթիվ անդրազգային կորպորացիաների, ազդեցիկ ներդրումային ֆոնդերի, խոշոր ընկերությունների ղեկավարների:

Համաշխարհային ներդրումային համաժողովի բացմանը հետևել է ՄԱԿ-ի Ներդրումների խրախուսման մրցանակաբաշխության արարողությունը, որին մասնակցել է նաև նախագահ Սարգսյանը։

Մրցանակների արժանացել են այն ընկերությունները, որոնք գերազանց արդյունքներ են գրանցել ՄԱԿ-ի կողմից հռչակված կայուն զարգացման նպատակների, մասնավորապես՝ աղքատության դեմ պայքարի, որակյալ կրթության ու առողջապահության ապահովման, կլիմայական փոփոխության դեմ պայքարի ծրագրերի իրականացման գործում։ Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը մրցանակ է հանձնել հնդկական «Invest India» ընկերությանը։

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահն այնուհետեւ այցելել է Համաշխարհային ներդրումային hամաժողովի «Ներդրումային ավանում» բացված Հայաստանի տաղավար, որտեղ մեր երկրի ներդրումային միջավայրին, գրավչությանն ու մրցակցային առավելություններին զուգահեռ` ներկայացված են նաև Հայաստանի զբոսաշրջային հնարավորություններն ու առանձնահատկությունները։

Նախագահը ծանոթացել է տաղավարում ներկայացված նյութերին, զրուցել այցելուների հետ:
