«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Երեկ ֆեյսբուքյան ուղիղ եթերի ընթացքում «Փաստ» օրաթերթի արդեն պաշտոնաթող գլխավոր խմբագիր, մի շարք լրատվական կայքերի սեփականատեր Վարուժան Բաբաջանյանը հայտարարեց ռեյտինգային ընտրակարգով Տավուշի մարզում պատգամավորության թեկնածու առաջադրվելու իր մտադրության մասին: Չնայած Բաբաջանյանը նշեց, որ վերադառնում է քաղաքականություն, բայց, ըստ էության, նա քաղաքականությունից որևէ տեղ չէր էլ գնացել, ու այդ փաստը ավելի լավ, քան Տավուշի մարզի քաղաքացիները, ոչ ոք չի կարող արձանագրել: Ինչպես իր խոսքում նշեց Բաբաջանյանը, իր ոճը չէ տաքուկ տեղավորվել համամասնական ցուցակում, և չնայած դեմ է հին Ընտրական օրենսգրքին, ամեն դեպքում առաջադրվելու է «Բարգավաճ Հայաստան» կուսակցության նաև տարածքային ցուցակով, այսինքն՝ նաև ռեյտինգային ընտրակարգով: Այս որոշումը ունի շատ կարևոր նախապատմություն՝ նախկին ընտրություններում մեկ անգամ՝ մեծամասնական, մեկ անգամ էլ ռեյտինգային ընտրակարգով Տավուշի մարզի հազարավոր բնակիչներ իրենց ձայնը վստահել են Բաբաջանյանին: Ցավոք, այդ ձայները մեզ բոլորիս հայտնի պատճառներով չեն վերածվել պատգամավորական մանդատի: Մեծ հաշվով, իհարկե, մանդատով չէ, որ մարզի հոգսերը պետք է դառնային Բաբաջանյանի ամենօրյա գործունեության ահռելի մասը, բայց պատգամավորական մանդատը, այդ մանդատի տված օրենսդրական հնարավորությունները նոր շանսեր են ստեղծում մարզի հոգսերն ու խնդիրները առավել արդյունավետ լուծելու համար: Նոր Հայաստանը, նոր իրավիճակն ու ընտրական գործընթացի խոստացվող նոր որակը շանս են ընձեռում, որպեսզի նախկինում Բաբաջանյանին վստահված, բայց մանդատի չվերածված ձայները այս անգամ հասնեն իրենց վերջնական հանգրվանին: Ինչպես ինքը՝ Բաբաջանյանը նշեց, նա պարտք ունի վերադարձնելու իր ընտրողներին, ասելիք ու անելիքներ ունի:
