«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Նախընտրական տոնավաճառի հայաստանյան ավանդույթների մասին արդեն առիթ ունեցել ենք խոսելու: Հիմա, երբ արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների օրը նշանակված է, քաղաքական ուժերի մասնակցության հիմնական պատկերն էլ է արդեն ուրվագծված, այդ տոնավաճառն իր ամբողջ «պերճանքն ու թշվառությունն» ի ցույց է դրել: Քաղաքական ամուլ դաշտի պայմաններում, երբ հիմնական թելադրող հանգամանքը ոչ թե գաղափարախոսական, արժեքային հիմքն է, ոչ թե քաղաքական–կուսակցական ավանդույթը, այլ իրավիճակն ու իրավիճակի թելադրանքը, քաղաքական վերադասավորումները տեղի են ունենում այնպիսի սահունությամբ, այնպիսի հակասական վերափոխումներով, որ նույնիսկ զարմանքը բավարար չէ տեղի ունեցողն ընկալելու համար:

«Կարծես թե ոչինչ էլ տեղի չի ունեցել» դեմքի արտահայտությամբ մարդիկ փոխում են իրենց դիրքորոշումները, տատանվում՝ արդյո՞ք արժե մտնել այս կամ այն կուսակցության ցուցակ, թե՞ ոչ, հաշվարկում, թե որ ցուցակով է ավելի հնարավոր հայտնվել խորհրդարանում կամ գոնե հայտնվել քաղաքական որևէ ուժի ազդեցության գոտում, իսկ ավելի պրագմատիկները մտածում են ոչ թե խորհրդարանում հայտնվել– չհայտնվելու, այլ նախընտրական տոնավաճառի ընթացքում իրենց ֆինանսական կարողությունը ձեռք բերելու համար:

Ամենատհաճն ու ամենավտանգավորն այս պրոցեսում այն է, որ տոնավաճառային պահանջարկը գալիս է ներքևներից: Որովհետև, եթե քաղաքական կայացած ուժերի մակարդակում մենք տեսնում ենք քիչ թե շատ քաղաքական պայքար ու այդ պայքարին բնորոշ նախընտրական մոբիլիզացիոն պրոցեսներ, ապա արդեն քաղաքականության երկրորդ, երրորդ մակարդակներում մենք տեսնում ենք նույն «հավերժական տասովշիկներին», որոնք անկախ այն հանգամանքից՝ «թաղային խուժան», թե «կուսակցական կոմերսանտներ» կատեգորիայում են, փորձում են իրենց ծառայությունները ամեն կերպ վաճառելով՝ թրենդ թելադրել քաղաքական կյանքում: 

Ակնհայտ է, որ բարոյալքման հերթական միամսյակի դեմն առնելու միակ տարբերակը հստակ չափորոշիչների ու ֆիլտրերի արձանագրումն է խոշոր քաղաքական ուժերի կողմից, որոնց շնորհիվ գուցե ստացվի այդ բարոյալքման ալիքն ու դրանով բոլոր ժամանակներում զբաղվողների հերթական քամիները զսպել:
