Ես Հայաստանից մեկնելու եմ, բայց մշտապես երկրից երբեք չեմ գնալու։ Այս մասին այսօր՝ նոյեմբերի 21-ին, ԱԺ–ում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում հայտարարեց Ազգային ժողովի Հանրապետական խմբակցության պատգամավոր, նախկին դատախազ Գեւորգ Կոստանյանը՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե, այնուամենայնիվ, հնարավոր է վերջինս մնա եւ իր գործունեությունը շարունակի Հայաստանում։

«Ես Հայաստանից մեկնելու եմ, բայց մշտապես երկրից երբեք չեմ գնալու։ Երկրից ես չեմ կարող կտրվել որեւէ պարագայում։ Առիթ ունեցել եմ ասելու՝ իմ կենսագրության տարբեր ժամանակներում ունեցել եմ հնարավորություն եւ առաջարկներ երկրից դուրս տարբեր միջազգային կառույցներում աշխատելու, բայց մերժման պատճառը եղել է այն, որ ինչ–որ ժամանակահատված ես գտվել եմ դրսում, բայց սա մեր երկիրն է, գալիս է մի պահ, երբ քո որոշումը բարոյական հարթության մեջ է, քան աշխատանքային։ Ես անկեղծ եմ ասում՝ աշխատանքային խնդիր չունեմ»,–հայտնեց պատգամավորը։

Դիտարկմանը ի պատասխան, թե նա ամեն դեպքում խորհրդարանում չէր աշխատելու, Կոստանյանը նկատեց. «Այնպես չէ, որ ես հնարավորություն չունեի նաեւ պառլամենտ մտնելու համար միջոցներ ձեռնարկելու, բայց պառլամենտական գործունեությունը ինձ համար շատ հոգեհարազատ չէ, քանի որ այն այնուամենայնիվ իր մեջ քաղաքական տարրեր է պարունակում, իսկ ես ամեն կերպ խուսափում եմ քաղաքական դրսեւորումների մեջ որեւէ կերպ ներգրավվելուց։ Ես որոշում էի կայացրել, որ ես պառլամենտական գործունեության մեջ երբեւէ ներգրավված չեմ լինելու, առնվազն առաջիկա 5 տարին հաստատ»։

Նախկին դատախազը մանրամասնեց, որ ոլորտը, որում կաշխատի արտասահմանում, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտին կառնչվի։
