ԱՄՆ բանակը Սիրիայի եւ Թուրքիայի սահմանին դիտակետեր կտեղադրի
INTERNATIONAL NEWSՄիացյալ Նահանգների բանակը մտադիր է Սիրիայի եւ Թուրքիայի սահմանին դիտակետեր տեղադրել: Այս մասին հայտնել է ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարար Ջեյմս Մեթիսը, փոխանցում է «Գերմանական ալիքը»:
Նրա խոսքով՝ նման քայլը թույլ կտա խուսափել Թուրքիայի եւ քրդական ռազմականացված կազմավորումների միջեւ լարվածության մեծացումից:
Դիտակետերը հստակ կնշվեն, «որպեսզի Թուրքիան իմանա, թե դրանք որտեղ են գտնվում», հավելել է Պենտագոնի ղեկավարը: Դրանց ստեղծումը քննարկվել է Անկարայի հետ, շեշտել է Մեթիսը:
«Սիրիայի դեմոկրատական ուժերի» (SDF – սիրիական ընդդիմության եւ քրդական կազմավորումների դաշինք) ներկայացուցիչները նոյեմբերին հայտարարել էին տարածաշրջանում «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ գործողությունների շարունակման մասին: Քրդերը ստիպված էին դադարեցնել սեպտեմբերից անցկացվող գործողությունը թուրքական բանակի կողմից իրենց դիրքերի գնդակոծման պատճառով: SDF մարտիկները զգալի ավանդ են ունեցել Սիրիայի Ռաքա եւ Դեր Զոր նահանգներում ահաբեկիչների հենակետերի վրա վերահսկողություն հաստատելու գործում:
SDF հիմքն են կազմում «Ժողովրդական ինքնապաշտպանության ջոկատներ» (YPG) քրդական ռազմականացված կազմավորումները: YPG ջոկատները ԻՊ-ի դեմ պայքարում ԱՄՆ դաշնակիցներն են: Ընդ որում՝ Անկարան այդ ջոկատները համարում է Քրդական աշխատավորական կուսակցության ճյուղը, որը Թուրքիայում ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություն է ճանաչվել:
